update 26th aug 2010: Asha NOT back home!!!

Part 1
Vikrant rings the bell and Deepu opens it. The Sharmas are surprised to see him, and after sitting down, he inquires about Reshmi. Deepu asks him how he knows her, and Vikrant says that since he has a rishta, if he doesn't, who will? Deepu is surprised to hear that, but Vikrant tells him that since Jyoti considers her her sister, she's Vikrant's relative as well. He tells them that he promised Jyoti that he'll recover Reshmi quickly, and just wants a little help from them. Dadi tells him that there is nothing to worry about, since Reshmi has returned to her sasural. Vikrant tells her that until now, she has not even phoned Jyoti, so it's definitely a matter of concern. Deepu gives him that letter that she last left for Jyoti, along w/ a photo of herself w/ Jyoti. Padma asks him where he could possibly find them, and Vikrant says that if he is to save his own life, he has to find her. Looking up, he clarifies to them that he couldn't face Jyoti if he didn't find her. Dadi says Jyoti should forget her, but Vikrant assures her that he'll find her and then return to Jyoti. He then leaves.

Vikrant calls his sidekick and tells him that the person backing Reshmi was none other than his own new bhabi, and so he needs to locate Reshmi and finish her off. The sidekick begs not to be given this task, and Vikrant accuses him of just freeloading off him, and threatens to turn him in, since the phone is in his name. The sidekick reluctantly agrees. Vikrant remarks to Jyoti's pic that she's set the hunter upon the prey.

Jyoti is in her room, when Bhavri stealthily sneaks up to her and scares her (I just love it when Bhavri does that - it's a sight to behold. Particularly funny when Jyoti is in the receiving end) Jyoti tells her that she is still a kid, and Bhavri says that she loves kids, and their pranks. Jyoti suggests that in that case, she should bring one into this world, and asks when she is expecting. Bhavri tells her that Raghu would like to have it late. Jyoti remarks that if not her, at least Asha bhabi should have had one by now.

Bhavri's mood instantly changes and she says that that question would only arise if and when Asha-didi returns. Jyoti asks her what she means, but Bhavri is too scared to elaborate. She then explains that jeth-ji never allowed Asha to step out of the house, and today, all of a sudden, he did, so if she stays there and likes it and decides to stay there forever, then? Jyoti tells him that no woman would be happy leaving her hubby forever - sometime or the other, she'd want to come back to him. Bhavri tells her that if the sasural is like theirs, she might consider it. Jyoti asks her the meaning of this, and also why Sumer is always so angry @ Asha? Bhavri tells her that it's b'cos Asha has failed to deliver him a baby.

Chachi-sa asks Sumer what has Asha managed to give her to date - she still couldn't make him a father, and now Jyoti is here, and Asha, who could never even look @ him, is now challenging his manhood. Sumer is confused, and chachi tells him to do to Asha what he did to his earlier wives. In another room, Raghu hears this and is shocked.

Bhavri tells Jyoti that this is the reason Sumer had divorced his earlier 2 wives. Jyoti remarks that if it was just the first wife, it would be one thing, but if he failed to do so w/ both his 2nd & 3rd, then... She asks Bhavri if he had himself checked up? It's now Bhavri's turn to be shocked, and tells her that if Sumer ever accidentally heard that, she'd get beaten up. Jyoti tells her that no woman can procreate on her own, and that divorce is not the answer. Both Sumer & Asha bhabi have to visit a doctor, and only then would they know. Bhavri gets even more scared, and tells her that she's just telling her what she imagines, and besides, these events took place before she married. She tells Jyoti that if she dares raise questions about this, then along w/ her, Bhavri too will get killed. Jyoti recalls what Kabir had told her the other day, and assures Bhavri that she'll give it time. Bhavri is half reassured, but Jyoti says they have to get to the bottom of it.

Part 2
At a party function, Madam announces RP's candidature from Jodhpur. RP goes up to her and she tells him that while he has been given the ticket, all credit goes to Kabir. He looks @ Kabir rather awkwardly, and says that his son has made him hold his head high (for a father, he doesn't seem remotely proud, but rather embarrassed that the credit is Kabir's, rather than his) He says that he tried a lot to bring him into politics, but he just wants to do service. Kabir gets up and says that he gets that inspiration from Jyoti. Madam tells RP that he's set a fine example by accepting a divorcee as his bahu, and setting a new example that divorced women to make second attempts @ successful marriages. RP acknowledges it, and thinks to himself how this was something forced on him, but the end result is him basking in its glory. (RP, you are better off trying to dispose of chachi-sa)

That night, when Bhavri is ready to sleep, Raghu remarks that Sumer's mind is being filled w/ crap. Bhavri doesn't understand, and Raghu tells her that he thinks that Asha is about to have the same fate as Sumer's first 2 wives, so he doesn't know whether she'll come back this time. He then turns to her, and sees her asleep. He is relieved and turns off the lights.

Jyoti is on the phone w/ Kabir, and he tells her that it will be a day longer for the formalities, since RP's candidature is about to be announced. They have a romantic conversation, but Kabir's dad calls him asking if he's awake, and Kabir tells him he's about to sleep, and ends the conversation.

Part 3
Bhavri enters Jyoti's room, and Jyoti asks her what's wrong. Bhavri tells her that she's scared that Asha-didi will never come back. Jyoti asks her how can she be so sure, and she says that her evidence is that her husband told her that perhaps she'll never return, that's proof 😆 Jyoti tells her that he did say 'perhaps', and Bhavri tells her that if you drop the 'perhaps', it's the same thing 🤣 She tells Jyoti that she's very scared of what might happen, & begs her to do something.

Jyoti tells her to come w/ her, and she objects, saying that women don't go around the house @ night - what if they are caught? Jyoti hushes her up and takes her. From upstairs, they see Sumer, and Bhavri explains to Jyoti that he has a drinking habit @ night, and has the plate since he needs to eat something as well. They then go around, and finally, Bhavri asks Jyoti where she is going, and she says chachi-sa. Bhavri refuses to go any further & sends Jyoti alone (Previously, Bhavri would let Asha do the heavy-lifting, and now, it's Jyoti. First Jethani, now Devrani.)

Jyoti enters Chachi-sa's room and asks about Asha bhabi. Chachi asks her why is she so worried - she's @ her maayka, and it was after all Jyoti's idea! She probably liked it there, and decided to stay longer. Jyoti tries to argue, but Chachi-sa ends the conversation, and says that they'll talk tomorrow morning.

Jyoti returns to her room, where Bhavri is waiting, and Bhavri, spoofing Chachi-sa, announces that there are rules & regulations in this house that have to be followed: chachi-sa probably thinks she is a queen. Jyoti tells her that this is no time for jokes, and that now, she too feels that something is wrong. She decides to talk to Asha-bhabi, and Bhavri asks her how will they know where she is? Jyoti says she's @ her maayka, where else, and so Bhavri brings her diary and Jyoti calls Samsher Singh Rathod, Asha's bro and asks for Asha. She is shocked @ the response. Bhavri asks her about it, and Jyoti tells her that Asha never went to her maayka, and wonders where did Sumer take her?

So Vikrant is hunting for Reshmi again. I hope he fails, and that Jyoti is the one who somehow discovers where she is.

So Sumer's secret is that he may be impotent, and that drives his anger. Today, it seemed that like Kabir, Raghu too dissents, but is quiet about it. Looks like he will probably be the easiest to reform.

If Asha is dead, it's one thing, but if she's alive, I think Jyoti's next move will be to talk them into being checked by a fertility doctor. Essentially, Jyoti is like a bull in a china shop in this sasural. In a way, it's good - if chachi & RP are all the time going to be plotting against her - not that she knows it - she might as well shake things up real well and ultimately cause things to tumble on them.

So the new chapter is opened in today's episode and I got my answer that why the two brothers are childless up to now .Imagine what will happen if the Kabir-Jyoti expecting a baby or Jyoti finding Reshmi and CS will forced to accept her as her Bahu for the Political reasons (As RP who accepted jyoti).I am happy that this time Jyoti has not enough time to think about her Maayka since there are two many things that she has to fix in this Haveli.I think Asha is alive and she will come back coz she is Kabir's favouite Bhabi and if something happen to her the war will arise between Kabir and Sumer and The Victory goes to Kabir and Jyoti coz of Kabir's success in Politics .By the way thanks Vrisha for the update I appreciate ,thanks a lot.

thanx vrisha..jyoti atleast moving beyond her bhashans and doing sumthng constructive...lo and behold,mr.sumer is impotent or sterile!!great going...now am rooting for asha coming back alive and thn jyoti proving tht sumer is the reason she dsnt have kids...
