Article:Young guns grow up...

Young actors on TV have made quite an impact in recent times. Whether the Uttaran kids, the Ballika Vadhu couple or the little Jhansi Ki Rani, they've all been good literally compelling the makers to stretch their serials with the young guns for a longer period of time.

In Ekta Kapoor's Tere Liye too, small Anurag and Tani, played by Devash Amit Thaker and Prachi Deshmukh, have been liked by viewers. Backed by some very strong performances by Nikkhil Arya along with Supriya Raina Shukla, Kali Prasad Mukherjee and Geetanjali Tikekar, the young duo Devash-Prachi managed to rake in good TRPs for their romantic serial. But the leap has just happened and the kids have grown up. Hopefully the older Anurag-Tani, that is Anupriya and Harshad Chopra, will be able to take things forward from here. They are lucky indeed to get a good base to start with.
