Nehru was not an Indian at all.His Mind,Soul & Body belongs to British.
A PM can't solve problems of people just Sitting & Enjoying Lavish items in life.

Nehru did mess up a lot. His insistence on being the first PM of India is one of the few reasons for the Indo-Pak Partition. Even Gandhi could not make him step down.

It could have contributed to the British finally leaving India . Mountbatten did not want to take any further risk with edwina & nehru 😆

The fragmentation of india was a painful process but seems to have been inevitable sooner or later.

^^ I dont think it wud have happened, had Gandhi been not given the status of Mahatma and Congress not succumbed to his now in-famous "Fast-unto-death" tactics

Nothing is inevitable other than death maybe. It becomes inevitable because we think it is inevitable. And sometimes people like to move on thinking that it was inevitable instead of admitting to themselves that it was they who failed to prevent what happened.

Dont you think India is better off with the partition ? Even now we keep having so much heart burns. With the chunk away in a separate land, thats that much of less trouble for the country 😛 Just imagine all that population here
