I have heard Mishal is good in his job-Sadia

Mano Ya Na Mano is back with season 2. The first episode features popular television actress Sadia Siddiqui as Rashida, a woman who weeps blood instead of tears. The episode is based on a real life story and Sadia speaks about portraying the same.

What did you find intriguing about the role of Rashida in Mano Ya Na Mano 2-Khoon Ke Aansu?

I know Mr Chand who is associated with the show, since childhood. When he called me up and informed me that he felt that I could play the role best I knew that I had to accept it. He then briefed me about my character and I was excited about the role.

Any memorable incident while shooting for the episode and your favorite scene?

The most memorable scene of the episode was when I had to lift up a hefty guy. I somehow managed to pull it off.

Why do you feel the audience should watch the episode?

The interview with the real Rashida who weeps blood is very interesting.

Have you met Rashida? Have you done any research to understand the character better?

I have not met Rashida but seen the interview that the creative team had shot with her. The creative team helped me to prepare for the role.

What do you feel about Mishal Raheja as a host and do you feel he will be able to match up to Irrfan Khan?

I have not interacted with Mishal as yet, but I have heard he is good at his job.

Have you met anyone with special powers like the people shown in Mano Ya Na Mano?

Unfortunately I have not met any such person but I wish I could.

Which role did you enjoy playing more Rashida or Radha bua?

Both the roles are good. There are a lot of new situations to watch out for in Sasural Genda Phool now that Suhana has decided to leave the house. Keep watching the show.
