OK, maybe those songs were out of their range. But what about the songs that were in their range? I think they pretty much do justice to them. I don't think Satrangi Re is too high for Amey. If he can sing a song w/vaying pitch level (ie. Tadap Tadap) I'm sure he can pull off a Satrangi Re. Plus, there's no need for him to deepen the voice like he did for Rang De Basanti. Its hard to imagine any singer pulling off both a Hariharan and Daler Mehndi song with equal success.

Then there are contestants who have picked songs in their range yet messed up big time ie. went off scale for almost the entire song. 😕 At least some contestants select songs in their range (ie. Karyuna) and do full justice to them.

totally agree with u sonya......i also dont think singers like amey have to change their voice ....their voice always reamin good.....so there is no to change the voice and become like the original singer..........

Im sure Amey can pull off Satrangi!

And yes Amey may struggle with high pitch...but its one thing to struggle and one thing to sing bad!

Even though he struggles(which is like what one time?) he still sounds good

Wasnt his first Gala song in high pitch!

The only song Amey sounded BAD in was Rang De Basanti, and i didnt like him in Mahive other than that, he has been near-perfect

amey very wisely didnt start the song with "bejan dil ko tune...."too high for him he would have ruined his throat again.debojit was brave and started from the beginning and did a fine job😃

well ya shawn but i thought he sang mahi vey with great intensity......i loved that performance....

why didnt amey start tadap tadap from the beginning 😕 .another blunder.no wonder sonu didnt even mention amey in his article. judges are now aware of his Llmitations.earlier it was amey and karuny....now only karunya.the bar is raised.

i dont have any issues with the judges.....

.....we alll know all the contestants have some limitations......but if the judges took so long to realise that ......too bad 👎🏼
