Recently we have seen Armaan display this very bitter side to others, especially Shilpa. In fact he himself admitted that he's on his worst behaviour with her. She seems to annoy him a lot even though she is always there to help him out. He can't seem to understand this woman as he (or rather their encounters) keeps on unveiling this very different side to Shilpa. Nonetheless, no matter how much Shilpa helps Armaan, he's always displayed this annoyed stance to her.
But today was different! Today in the rec room (ah the rec room, my current favourite place...it has become THE ArSh place now), we saw him getting amused by Shilpa's 'antics'. She was innocently trying to imitate him from all their major encounters, just so she could vent out her frustration. Frustration for what? Frustration for all these feelings that she is harboring for Armaan, but is having a hard time suppressing. Again we see ArSh use the rec room as the place to vent out those emotions, and yes it may not be as dramatic as the last time, but still Shilpa's imitations were just a way of venting out her emotions.
Anyways, Armaan sees her doing this, and I truly expected him to go in there, yell a little and then be annoyed with her. Nevertheless, he actually seemed to be amused by those imitations, and Shilpa managed to do what others haven't been able to do in a LONG time: Make Armaan smile :)
Armaan's amusement and his smile are clear signs (for me at least) that slowly Armaan is changing, and so are his feelings towards Shilpa. He was no longer the bitter, 'sarroo' doctor today, rather Shilpa gave us a glimpse of the old Armaan.
Oh and I realize Armaan says that Shilpa isn't anything for him, but I really think she is becoming something. Yes she's definitely not that important as yet, but the process has started when she will soon become the most important person in life.
