Celebrities are considered to be semi-Gods in a nation like ours, where fans emulate and follow everything that the iconic actors do on-screen and off it. Well some fall in the category of subtle and moderate fans where they send those sweet messages and lovey-dovey texts to praise and appreciate their fans. But then there are a few who fall in the category of extremists, who go out of their way to get in touch with their favourite actors. Madhura Naik: It was on Facebook, where a female fan used to send me emails on a daily basis. I was prompt at replying to her till it got really hard for me to keep up with it. But I got the shock of my life when one fine day, I got a suicidal mail from her as her favourite show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, in which I had featured too, was going off air. To avoid any ugly situation, I deleted her from my list. But this didn't deter her wee-bit as she added my friends on Facebook and started troubling them for my numbers. |
