Geet was very excited yet nervous..after all it was her first day of college..she will meet new people..it will be a new place..she excitedly got out of her room..and walked to the dining table..where every1 was present..

Her chair was infront of Maan..but she ignored him and sat down..

Mr. Khurana: aaj to tumhare college ka pehla din hai na!..

Geet excitedly nodded.."jee uncle..im really excited..and nervous too!"

Mrs. Khurana: beta nervous hone ki koi baat nahi hai..im sure tum ahista ahista adjust ho jaao gee.. u r a bright girl..

Geet smiled: thank u aunty..

Mrs. Handa: haan Geet..pareshaan nahi hona..everything will be alrite..aur thori nervousness hogi..after all its ur 1^st day..but don't panic..

Geet listened to every1's advice..she cudnt eat anything in excitement..after eating a little..she got up..but confused that how will she go..shez upset wid Maan..so ofcourse not wid him!..Maan was done wid breakfast..and got up..

Maan: Geet..lets go!..he sounded so casual..which made Geet kinda mad..

"Sorry to jaise bolna he nahi sikha" she thought..

Geet: wohhh..main..she was finding an excuse..

Mrs. Handa: woh kya beta..jaldi jaao warna tum 1^st day late ho jaao gee..aur Maan bhi tumharee wajah se late hojaiga..

Maan: ahem..jaldi aao main car main tumhara intezaar kar raha hoon..wid that sed he made his way to garage

Geet was hopelessly excuseless..she had to go wid him..but she decided not to talk to him..or reply back to him..until he says sorry..wid that thought in her mind..she made her way to his car..

He has brought his car out frm the garage..and now was outside waiting for her in the car..he saw her cuming..and started to look down straight on the road..like he dusnt knw she is cuming

She came..opened the door and sat in..he started driving..

On the way both were quiet..Maan even didn't look at her..and Geet also kept looking outside the window..surprised that Maan even didn't attempt to say sorry..they reached the college..she opened the door and was about to leave..

Maan: jab college se chutti ho..wait for me on the same spot..i will cum..he sed in a demanding tone..wid out looking at her

Geet showed she dusnt care..and widout any reply..she left..Maan knew it..that she wud react like that..so he queitly drove away..and she entered the college..

The whole day went pretty ok..until she went to her accounts class..

"Guys!..look we have a new student wid us..Ms Geet Handa!..the professor introduced Geet to the whole class..a group of boys started to say "oos" and "Aaa's"which made her more nervous..her stomach started to twist..it was always used to happen when she feels uneasy..she felt like leaving the place..but she quietly went to a desk and sat there..she felt like shez in 5^th standard..because of those guys' immature behavior..but she tried to pay attention..

After an hour the class ended..and thank fully it was the last class of the day..she sighed in relief..she was about to leave the class room..when a girl called her

"Hey..Geet!.." geet surprisingly turned around and saw a smiling girl cuming toward her..

"hii..im Pinky!..im sorry about those guys..

Geet smiled

"woh log humare college k sabse famous yet bure log hain..its a gang of these stupid seniors..buch k rehna..tum nayee ho..they make fun of new student..by their low and cheap antics they can make lives miserable..Geet cudn't figure out whether she was warning her or scaring her..

Geet: sach pinky!?..she asked

Pinky nodded.." but don't worry..tum meray saath reh sakti ho..i mean in the campus..

Geet smiled: thanks

Pinky: to kal phir hum canteen main milenge..she confirmed while getting out of the building..

Geet nodded "ok byee"

Pinky: byee

and both went to their ways..Geet decided to wait for Maan on the same spot..coz she was new to the place..and didn't knw the path..

she was standing there till 5 min. and Maan still didn't show up..it was soo hot that it was unbearable for her to stand there..but she still decided to wait..Slowly people started banishing..and the campus became empty..Geet was now really mad..and worried

" mujhe bohot lectures de raha tha..5 min. ki value k baare main..aur ab khud poore 7 min. late hai, ughhhh Maaann..jaldi aao!" she was thinking when she heard sum guys talking and laughing..she turned around and saw they were the same guys from the accounts class..Pinky's words were echoing in her mind..she tried not to panic..she started looking in the other direction..waiting for Maan..

The guys were now standing next to her..it was a group of 4..

Guy1: hiii..tum to wahee..Accounts class waalee ho na! the new senior student

Geet looked at him..and then tried to ignore

The other Guy: tumhara naam kya tha..he tried to remember..

Guy3: Ms. Geet Haandaaa!!!..they all started snorting

Geet was feeling like punching them on the face..but she knew they cud harm her easily..and she was alone..so she started walking to the other side of the road..she quickly crossed the road which was in the middle of those 2 sides..the guys slowly were following her

Geet: babaJee..bachalo..she cried in her mind

they were after her and were in the middle of the road..almost reaching the other side..when a black Mercedes blocked their way..and the door opened and they saw a guy came out..and talking to her..it was Maan!

Maan hurriedly came out..and walked toward Geet

Maan: I am soo sorry Geet..main traffic Jam main phas gaya tha..i swear..

The guys were now standing beside them..watching them..

Maan who was apologizing to Geet now looked at them..Geet cud notice the confusion..and unpleasant expression on his face..she held his arm and tell him to go..

Geet: chalo Maan chalte hain..

Maan nodded..and they both sat in the car..and Maan drove away..

Maan was driving..Geet still didn't talk to him..she leaned back on the seat..the cool air frm the air conditioner was calming her down..Maan also didn't say anything..which made Geet furious..she kept her eyes closed..thinking about whatever happened today..she didn't knw when did she fell asleep..Maan stopped the car infront of a restaurant.. he didn't knw Geet was sleeping..

Maan: Geet..chalo..

Geet didn't respond..now he looked at her..she was asleep..for sum moments he just kept looking at her.."she looks so peaceful while sleeping..and soo..cu..cute" he thought..and smiled..then he slowly shook her by shoulder..

Maan: Geet..Geet..utho..

Geet opened her eyes: ghar aa gaya? She asked rubbing her eye

Maan: nahi..ghar nahi hai..car se bahar aakar dekho!..he sed while getting out

Geet confusingly opened the car door and stepped out..then she noticed she was standing infront of a restaurant..she looked at Maan..angirly

Maan: chalo andar chalte hain..

Geet didn't move.. Maan got that she meant she dusnt want to go in..

Maan walked to her..held her hand..and then took her in..she protested..but then after noticing that every1 was looking at them..she became silent..

Maan took her to a table..and sat on the large sofa..which was placed beside the table..

Geet was still standing

Maan: Jaao tum fresh hokar aajao..

Geet: mujhe ghar jaana hai!..she demanded in a low tone..while sitting on the other sofa..rite in front of Maan..

"Geet..mujhe bohot bhook lagi hai..tum jaldi se ladies washroom jaao..fresh hokar aao..main order deta hoon..he softly sed..and called waiter for the order..

Maan: hmm..1 plate dal makhni..wid palak paneer..and roti..

The waiter noted down the order.."and May I take ur order ma'am?" he asked

Geet looked at Maan.."order dou" Maan sed

Geet looked at him angrily..but she was actually hungry..so she picked up the menu and ordered veg biryani and a strawberry milkshake..

Maan smiled that finally she agreed to eat..and forgave him.."it was so easy to pacify u Geet" he thought..after ordering Geet went to Ladies washroom to freshen up..

Geet washed her face..wid cold water..and felt pretty good..she was looking for papel towels but there were none left in the container..

Geet: ughh..aaj ka din he kharab hai..she murmured to herself and came out..and walked to the table..her face was wet..Maan looked at her..and then took out his handkerchief and offered her..

Geet quietly took it and wiped her face..Maan kept looking at her..she kept it on table instead of giving it to him..Maan's misunderstanding about her forgiving him..was now vanished..by her reactions..

Maan: soo aaj ka din kaisa gaya?..he tried to begin the convo

Geet: theek tha!

Maan: ok..

Geet looked at him irritably: main yahan aane ko maan gayi iska matlab yeh nahi hai k maine tumko maaf kardiya hai..now she sed directly..Clarifying everything

Maan sighed: Geet listen!..im sorry ok..i knw mujhe bhoolna nahi chahiye tha..but I got so busy wid the office work that it just slipped out of my mind..

Geet: main iss liye naraz nahi hoon k hum nahi gaye..main iss liye naraz hoon..kyunki tum bhool gaye..tum agar mujhe aik call karke bol dete..k tum nahi aapao ge..to main samajh jaatee..lekin tum to bhool he gaye..

Maan: ok ..i m sorry..realli sorry..main tumko aaj raat lekar chalta hoon..aur waise bhi..yeh hum jo restaurant aaye hain..this is not the treat..iss k liye to main pay karoon ga..tumharee treat to tumko pay karnee chahiye na..he mischievously sed

Geet: mujhe ab kahin nahi jaana

Maan: nahi jaana?..tum aisa nahi kar saktee..treat lena mera haq hai..i did so much for ur admission..aur waise bhi..jab tum mujhe treat dogi tabhi main samjhoonga k tumne mujhe maaf kardiya hai..

Geet gave him an annoyed look: ok..lekin aaj raat nahi..i have to complete my assignment..kal raat k baare main sochtee hoon

Maan: ok as u wish..but plzz tell me when u want to go

Geet nodded..the waiter brought the food..and served

They both started eating.."isko Manana itna bhi aasan nahi"..he thought while looking at her..who was enjoying her Veg biryani!
