Well, there's this BIRD FLU, CANCER (not by infection), and many others.

Do google diseases or try wikipedia.org. It's a good site to start with.

Disease is a disordered condition of the body when part of it does not function properly. A particular disease is recognisable by some characteristic signs and symptoms.

There are many types of diseases:

Inherited or congenital diseases (inherited from parents, usually can't be controlled), e.g. Down's syndrome
Dietary diseases (undernutrition / deficiency or over nutrition), e.g. Obesity, Kwashiorkor
Infectious diseases (due to the invasion of germs), e.g. AIDS, Flu
Industrial / occupational diseases, e.g. Pneumoconiosis, Repetitive strain injury
Environmental diseases, e.g. Lung cancer (heavily polluted air, Tuberculosis (poor hygiene)
Diseases caused by bad habits or lifestyle e.g. smoking, excessive alcohol consumption
Mental illnesses, e.g. Schizophrenia, Phobia
Degenerative diseases, e.g Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease
