At the time of this live performance, Manna Dey was perhaps above 80. Anyway this is a nostalgic video with a host of legends like Ustad Amjad Ali, Bhimsen Joshi, etc. A much younger Alka Yagnik was also there.

Well thanks lovely. Manadey Sahib is lovely even at such a grand age.

Generally most voices start losing their flexibility and richness once over 60 yrs. But if the throat is proper taken care off it should be fine.

thanks for sharing this lovely video 😃 I suppose it's from the zee sangeet awards that happened 10 years ago...as I have seen other videos of Sonu singing a long medley of his songs in the same outfit, and also giving a dance performance (lol 😆) that night...I wonder what else happened in that show and if any other videos are out there
