Krishna is going through a myriad of emotions at the moment.......but one thing will be eating at him is his inability to punish Angad, to take his revenge for daring to put one hand on Pratigya.
So on top of receiving the shock of his life, his shattered expectations and the fall of Pratigya in his eyes - don't forget he said he believed everything she said because she was right - he is also frustrated by his inability to act.
That is why he is in a daze, bombarded by too many emotions, unable to find an outlet (off course he is not going to hurt Prats) he had to get away and deal with his emotions. Things like basic self care and nourishment is the last thing in his mind....There is nothing embarassing about it, it is just one facet of his love for Pratigya, which is passionate and intense and all consuming. We may very well see later on that he has resolved a lot of the emotions or has come to a decision.

DyeHard, are'nt you going a little over board with this Liala-Majnu comparison. Krishna-Partigya situation is way too different. I mean he is brought this upon himself. Punishing himself, too me he looked like a guilt-stricken lover, not being able to cop with the reality that what he and his family did to pratigya his love, his own words are haunting him, " No matter what i will support you through thick and thin". His disbelieving on Pratigya's pleas, Ghanti Dadi's assurances that Pratigya is pure as gold.

Besides he is well known in Allahabad, Its hard to believe that no one has recognized him yet when he is found sleeping on a bench in the middle of a crowded bazaar, mind boggling isn't it??😕

No Sam, not suggesting that the 'story' is the same as Laila-Majnu. Laila-majnu is a love epic that is on the scale of the Socio-religious epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. It is folk-lore that has permeated the consciousness of the Subcontinent over several centuries.
But if you are familiar with the extent to which the imagery and ideals of this legend have influence the 'ethos of love' in persian/urdu poetry, sufiana kalam, and a great deal of the literature of romance in the North-western parts, you would immediately recognize the very obvious allusion to the imagery of the lover/madman facing taunts of the world, the persecution of his lover, the lover's desperate bid to escape and her crazed search for her tormented beloved to give him succor in a cruel world.
I am only happy that after sowing the seeds for a love of epic proportions the CVs are not balking at drawing from classical imagery. I was afraid they may try to play it cool or tone it down either because they don't want to be too dramatic or worse because they don't want to commit themselves too far.
This is not an fluffy office romance or a sedate finding-love-in-marriage kind of tale (nothing wrong with either, both types I enjoy hugely in their own spaces). Pratigya is an explosive love story and the creatives should not shy away from creating climaxes and crescendos at psychological moments. I am really happy that they are not doing so.
As for Krishna, he is fairly well-known, but not quite Gabbar Singh you know! Ke use gali ka bachcha bachcha janta ho! Really, you mustn't let all this argumentativeness on this forum drive you into rather absurd nit-picking
of the show.

P.S It is most fun if you are also listening to the song while reading it.

husn hazir hai
muhabbat ki sazaa paane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

husn hazir hai
muhabbat ki sazaa paane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

mere deewane ko
itna na sataao logo
mere deewane ko
itna na sataao logo

ye to vehshi hai
tum hi hosh mein aao logo
ye to vehshi hai
tum hi hosh mein aao logo

bahut ranjoor hai ye
ghamon se choor hai ye
bahut ranjoor hai ye
ghamon se choor hai ye

khuda ka khauf uthaao
bahut majboor hai ye
khuda ka khauf uthaao
bahut majboor hai ye

kyon chale aaye ho
bebas pe sitam dhaane ko
koi patthar se haan..
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

mere jalwo ki khata hai
jo ye deewana hua
mere jalwo ki khata hai
jo ye deewana hua

main hoon mujrim
agar hosh se begaana hua
main hoon mujrim
agar hosh se begaana hua

mujhe sooli chadha do
ya sholon mein jala do
mujhe sooli chadha do
ya sholon mein jala do

koi shiqwa nahi hai
jo ji chaahe sazaa do
koi shiqwa nahi hai
jo ji chaahe sazaa do

baksh do is ko
baksh do is ko
main taiyaar hoon mit jaane ko
koi patthar se haan..
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

pattharon ko bhi wafa
phool bana sakti hai
pattharon ko bhi wafa
phool bana sakti hai

ye tamaasha bhi
sar e aam dikha sakti hai
ye tamaasha bhi
sar e aam dikha sakti hai

lo ab patthar uthaao
zamaane ke khudaon
lo ab patthar uthaao
zamaane ke khudaon

tumhe main aazmaaun
mujhe tum aazmaao

ab dua arsh pe
ab dua arsh pe
jaati hai asar laane ko
ab dua arsh pe
jaati hai asar laane ko
koi patthar se haan..
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko

husn hazir hai
muhabbat ki sazaa paane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
koi patthar se na maare
mere deewane ko
