I think its because Komal has been shown to be close to Krishna from the beginning. The way they used to have play fights and how Krishna told her that she will one day understand that it was for her benefit that he got her married to Adarsh, because otherwise she would have ended up in a hell hole like the Thakurs villa where she would be getting beats everyday. So this is why I feel they have a close bond unlike that between Komal and Katra Naresh!
