you were talking about the dupatta scene, I always longed for them to see each other face to face at that time.....but it was never meant to be...but like you I thought it was strange she never really thought about it.
In fact, there were hints given that if the circumstances were different, Prats and Krish could have fallen in love without all the angst and recriminations.
1. The first sighting.....Just as Krishna could not take his eyes off her, she could not as well. The look of curiosity, the shyness and then the spark of interest in her eyes....the looks were exchanged and their history of eye lock started right then and there. She gave signals...the adjusting of her dupatta, the running hands through the hair and off course, need I say it again, the intense eye lock....😉 Dreamy, you made my day. I had written about just this scene in so much detail earlier in the year. I thought the exact same thing the first time I saw that scene. She couldn't look away. She kept sneaking a glance at him,😳 6 times in all, all the way to the rickshaw. Even then she snuck a glance. Krishna saw right into her soul and that is why he was so sure she loved him too. Eyes are after all the windows to the soul, hai na?😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😃😃😃😃😉😉😉😉
2. Hanuman prasad.....she was told by a fake sadhu that her future husband is like hanuman, the next day she was about to eat the prasad bought by Krishna....it was near her mouth until she recalled the 'sadhu's' words!
3. The look on her face when she drank that coffee in that shop, we are shown Krish too drinking at the same time........I don't know why but something about Prats face told me maybe she was thinking about a certain note inviting her for coffee....
4. For me the engagement was the clincher....the look on her face when Krishna came, the almost stubborn and defiant look on her face silently challenging Krishna.....you don't do that unless you want more of what he is offerring...😳....Again the eye lock!! Exactly! Take a look at the way she looked at him when he grabbed her hand and when he raised his hand, the look of disbelief that she couldn't believe he was going to slap her. That eye lock of defiance when she let Nitin put the ring on her finger, she turned to look at Krishna's reaction. That girl was playing games even back then, she loved the thrill of the chase, just couldn't accept she had those feelings for an unpud. If he had a college degree in hands neither the Saxes or Prats would have given him so much hell. Who cares if he learned anything at the University as long as he got a degree that's what was of any value to the Saxes. Their logic baffles me. Let Komal and Krishna talk more common sense and logic in situations that these Saxes should consider trading their degrees for a good dose of common sense. If only it was readily sold in schools or stores!
5. The mandir....that was the most touching and most telling as well......her dupatta covering his face like almost a blessing, while he prayed right behind her.......it was shown what was meant to be, wherever Pratigya was, he will always be one step behind her if not with her.Destiny, sab bagya ka khel hai. She didn't even know he was there.
6. At Nitin's brithday...when he comes in....again the look between them...the first time I saw it I had problems with the sound and honestly, it looked like a lovers meeting, one who's caught the other doing something wrong!!..😆...But their eyes spoke volumes.Yep!
I mean it I could go on......but I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this. Great (romantic) minds think alike.👏👏👏👏👏👏 Another powerful scene was when she accepts his proposal...the look on her face, it looked like excitement, trepidation and all the while a hint of smile on her face as they looked at each other.....
