Why did Maan not defend Geet today? I realize that this new woman is his client and he wants to do this project with her. Yet, I find it odd that Maan would take Geet's insult from even a prospective client. Although he didn't hear what this lady said to Geet before he came with her duputta, he could have said something more to this lady when he did hear her insulting Geet in front of him. All he did was dismiss Geet, and tell this lady that he'll get her cleaned up and they should talk about the business project.
Since this lady was not set straight, she continued to insult Geet in front of the other workers. I didn't like this. If Maan had set her straight in the hallway, this woman would have known her limits. Although Maan did defend Geet in a round about way...saying that all of his workers were very capable. It didn't do anything to deter this woman because Maan didn't specifically say something like...'I don't judge the work of my employees by the way the dress or the way they talk. I don't know about your company, but in my company...we judge the value of an employee based on their work'. That would have at least shut her up. 😡
I guess, maybe, its because we have come to expect Maan to defend Geet at all costs that I found this quite odd. It felt like he was purposely trying to avoid standing up for Geet. Granted, this is his client and he wants his business. But I'm sure you guys must remember that when Rahul was acting badly towards Geet, Maan had called his office and said that if Rahul was going to be working on this project, his company would not be participating. This shows that he is willing to let go of a project if Geet is disrespected....so, what was wrong today?😕
Even when Geet accidentally bumps into this woman near the end of the episode, Maan briefly closes his eyes...this simple action shows how he really, really wanted to avoid such a mishap from Geet because he really wants to keep this other woman (the client) happy.
Clearly, if Maan has not realized that he loves Geet...he does feel something for her. In the past, he has never had a problem standing up for her but today, her hero didn't step up the the
plate. I was quite disappointed by this. Geet has always said that no matter what, her Maan sir is always there to save her. Yet, today, her Maan sir just stood by while a woman said such horrible things to Geet. Even if it wasn't Geet...even if it was another employee...I would expect Maan to stand up for his staff. As their boss, he has an obligation towards them. If anyone can just walk in and bad mouth his staff like that, it is not only disrespectful to the staff but also to him.
Overall, Maan really disappointed me today. What are you opinions?
