She plays smooth - unlike Kala who is blatantly apparent. All her actions superficially seem nonselfish. She knows Babi very well could convince Naku to leave so Babi too has to be kept happy. Ganpat was ready to storm out till he found out he had hit the jackpot. Am sure Aayi Sahib knows Babi is probably ready to peace out with her daughter post-return. Only with them all kept happy would Dutta see they are being taken care of and are happy.
