That's not my idea of film making," declared Anil Kapoor's younger daughter Rhea Kapoor, who was in the city to promote her home production 'Aisha'.The film, which is based on Jane Austen's Emma, stars Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey, Arunoday Singh, Cyrus Sahukar and Amrita Puri.Rhea, who has produced Aisha, said she found dad's 'No Entry' and 'Welcome' too loud. "My dad thinks that's what attracts the audience, but for me, the storyline is as important as the star cast. I can't do slapstick," she said.'Aisha', shot in New Delhi, captures the spirit, sentiments and style of modern India and its upper class. Rhea admitted that they had to make some changes in the original script to suit Indian audiences. Delhi was also chosen because of the city's opulence and openness. "The divide between the middle class and upper class is most prominent in Delhi and that's another reason why we chose the city," explained Sonam.Cyrus Sahukar, who plays the boy from the West Delhi, said, "I play a rich boy who owns a sweet chain. He has loads of money but no class. Since I'm born and brought up in Delhi, I know a lot of guys who are like that. I had to just follow them for this role."Pinky, played by Ira, is Aisha's best friend. She is glamorous, she is sexy and she has a weird sense of humour. "You've seen this character in so many Hindi films but I've tried to portray it differently," said Ira."Pinky's character is another addition to the script," interrupted Sonam, who was getting all the attention in the absence of lead actor Abhay Deol. "I liked shooting for Aisha. It was like a family. There was a lot of young energy on the sets," said the 'Sawaariya' girl, shouting for water and something to eat. Looking at sister Sonam, Rhea said, "See, I'm not
khulla (open) like her. Even if I'm hungry, I would not shout for food. I don't think I can become an actor. I may turn to direction after a couple of years but acting is not something I'm interested in. Also, I don't like wearing make-up. Sonam somehow convinced me for a pedicure but I forgot to get a manicure. I simply don't have patience for all that."Sonam, on the other hand, said she likes being called the style icon."Clothes are an expression of what you are. I'd say, do what you like, even if it means getting five tattoos on your body or piercing your eyebrows. Don't follow others and make your own statement. That's why I love my character in Aisha," she said.
