Horrible storyline

Why is the police-case dragging being done when Vansh has committed suicide and Tapasya isn't even guilty in the first place? The plot makes no sense, and I have stopped watching this serial for good. It was much better off until the two girls married. The entry of Vansh ruined the storyline.
