isn't that the case with everyone who gets awards? fans? isn't the number of fans a sign of someone's popularity? 😕 or are you trying to say she is not a good actress but just made it based on her fans and connections? if so....then i disagree with you. rani is probably the very few who has both. she only doesn't have the glamor and the looks to keep people interested in her...as we all know you gotta have the look! you must be able to attract people....even her personality is very reserved which makes her quite dull. it's unfortunate but that's how it is in bollywood. and that's my opinion.

Not quite so. While both of them are considered established actresses, Rani is still considered a tad bit better than most of her contemporaries, and often is considered one of the finest actress of her generation.

Yup just like Preity has always been above Rani in the number game 😊 and more bankable too!

ok Im more of a Preity fan..but sure Rani was always considered as the better actress..BUT Preity was always ahead of her when it came to the number game..
may be she was never the darling of the critics..but preity has always been more bankable cz until year 2007 she so rarely had any flops..

abt KHNH...well Preity was a 2nd choice 2 Kareena at that one..but lol i wish i could scan the articles on star dust that year that openly speculated why rani was never even considered by KJo for the role of Naina...in their exact words like - n was not picked despite already being a part of the dharma productions with KKHH..

and i like rani too..almost always liked her(other than 4 KKHH & KANK) i ws always cheering n watching 4 her..

so im also in the lot who believe that rani sure as hell destroyed her career by being too faithful to YRF(in this preity is almost faulty too..except its only JBJ that failed n her case)

i would love to see Preity n Rani back in a film 2gether like HDJPK or CCCC ...they have so much talent oer the other actresses of 2day..miss them both a lot..

btw would be glad if this post doesn't get turned in to a rani preity comparison war topic..
