July 29 Written Update

Part 1

Aastha rests the glass of milk on the table outside of the door and is leaving. Meena falls at her feet and with tears in her eyes she begs Aastha to forgive her. Aastha is totally shocked. Meena remains at Aastha's feet looking at her with tears in her eyes. Aastha tells her to please stand up. Meena explains that it has always been that the bahu who gives her in-laws a son receives their respect. She has given birth to 2 girls. She was afraid that if Aastha gives birth to a boy she will have no place in the family. She says that she has spoken from her heart and pleads with Aastha to forgive her. Aastha says with kindness that she has already forgiven her. Meena is so relieved and thanks Aastha. She says that Aastha has opened her eyes and made her realized that there is no difference between a son and a daughter, they are both equal. She promises that she will change her ways and she will love Krishna like her own. She will also pray that Aastha has a boy and that will complete the family. Meena says excitedly that she will tell Ramakant & Bhagyashree to organize Aastha's Godh Bharai ceremony to celebrate in grand style. Aastha says she prefers to have a small ceremony with just family. Meena says that Aastha is a good person and deserves to be celebrated especially after the way she has been insulted all these years for not being able to conceive. Meena says that was all because she used to spread

Gaurav is sitting on the swing with Krishna and asks little Krishna to forgive his aunt for what she has done. Shivam comes and sees them together and feels happy. Ramakant comes and happily tells them that Meena is making grand preparations for them to celebrate Aastha's Godh Bharai ceremony. He tells them to invite everyone. Shivam & Gaurav are very happy with this news. Gaurav tells little Krishna let's go decorate the house for your Mom's Godh Bharai ceremony, just like we did for your naam karan. As Ramakant is leaving he hears this and stops. He looks back at little Krishna who is looking at his grandfather with longing in his eyes. Ramakant turns away.

Bhagyashree is feeding Krishna in Aastha's room. Meena comes and says she will help.

Bhagyashree is surprised. Meena explains sweetly that she has finished helping Bulbul with her homework and the baby is sleeping so she thought of spending some time with little Krishna, and besides tomorrow is the Godh Bharai ceremony and Bhagyashree has lots of preparations to make so she will help take care of Krishna. Bhagyashree agrees and leaves Meena to feed Krishna. As she leaves Bhagyashree watches how lovingly Meena feeds Krishna.

Ganga is giving instructions to the cook about what delicacies to prepare for the Godh Bharai ceremony tomorrow. Meena comes and says that Krishna gave no trouble and allowed her to feed him. She prays that everything will go well for Aastha's Godh Bharai ceremony tomorrow. Ghanti comes and listens sadly as Meena tells Ganga that she wants Aastha to be happy. Ganga leaves and Ghanti comes and touches Meena to see if she is real because she can't believe that Meena is being so nice towards Aastha & Krishna. Meena immediately changes back to her old self saying that she is doing all this drama just to win back her husband so that he would not divorce her. She says that she hates Aastha & Krishna even more now.

Part 2

Aastha is praising little Krishna for behaving so nicely with his aunt Meena. Kavita comes and says that Krishna is a sweet little boy, he behaves well with everyone, but she is surprised by the change in Meena. Aastha explains that they should be happy that Meena has changed. Kavita agrees and says that she wishes that Ramakant could change too and accept Krishna. Aastha says to be patient, soon Babuji will accept Krishna and also Soham, he will realize that caste does not matter in true love.

Ramakant is talking to his Guruji explaining that it worries him that they don't know what caste Krishna belongs to. He is hoping that Aastha will give birth to a boy because he is longing for a grandson. He begs Guruji to offer prayers that he will be blessed with a grandson. Guruji says that it is all in God's hands. He advises that Shivam & Aastha should offer prayers to lord Krishna before the godh Bharai ceremony.

Shivam & Aastha walk in with Krishna, followed by Ganga.

Ramakant excitedly tells Shivam & Aastha what Guruji has advised. Aastha turns and asks Buaji to take care of Krishna for her. Ramakant blurts out not to worry about Krishna, I will take care of him. Everyone looks at him in surprise. Shivam & Aastha are hesitant but Ramakant hurries them to come to do the puja.

While the puja is going on Ramakant lifts up Krishna and plays with him. Ganga is watching unhappily. Shivam & Aastha are concerned for Krishna and keep glancing back while they are praying. Ramkant plays happily with Krishna. Ganga eventually leaves angrily. Meena arrives and thinks to herself that if they are chanting mantras to Gopal Krishna then Aastha will definitely give birth to a son. She thinks to herself this is bad luck for her, what should she do. She turns and is shocked to see Ramakant playing happily with Krishna. She wonders if Ramakant has accepted Krishna as his first grandson; if this is true then it means more bad luck for her.

Part 3

Aastha & Shivam enter their room with Krishna. She tells Shivam that she was happy to see Babuji playing with Krishna. Shivam says he is not convinced; he's suspicious of Babuji's intentions. He knows that Babuji is praying for the baby to be a boy and that that baby will be his true heir. But only God knows if the baby will be a boy of a girl. Aastha tells him that he his unnecessarily suspicious of Babubji.

They show Meena's hand loosening the screws on the swing. Aastha says she is just overjoyed that on the day before her Godh Bharai ceremony Babuji has actually accepted little Krishna.

Meena shakes the swing to make sure it is loose.

Shivam says he hopes that Aastha is right and Babuji has really accepted Krishna.

Meena is holding the bolt that she removed from the swing and says that tomorrow when Aastha sits on the swing she will fall and her Godh Bharai ceremony will turn out to be the death of her baby.
