The Changing Shades of Geet and Maan.

In Hoshiarpur, at first Geet was shown as this bubbly, and at the same time shy and quiet girl-the way she accepted her Darji's punishments, Brij's constant mutterings, , Maa ke 'Tu NRI ko kaise mana kar sakti hain?' and all.

Then we saw the romantic side of her-that one who gave such a cute smile when that Dev female showered her with roses...when he gave her that shaadi ka joda..the eyelocks he gave during the pre-wedding ceremonies, and I, stupid person that I am, went 😍 . 😡

Then we saw the caring side of her when she patched up Maan's hand even though he was behaving
so rudely with her.

We saw the distressed, weak side of her when she was confronted with those gundas and when Dev left her at the airport, smiling at the whole tamasha she created.

We saw the slightly delusional side of her when she kept on insisting that Dev had not betrayed her and he was probably in trouble.

And finally-the moment most serials never show-when she realized she had been betrayed, and rather than just plain fury, after a small bout of sadness, she gained the determination she had been missing her whole life. She berated her family in front of the entire town, and moved to Delhi, convinced that she will begin a new life-but not before teaching Dev a lesson.

And now we see that nautanki side of her-who knew she could be such a rajdhani express! Lagta hai Delhi or Maan ki hawa chad gayi. Hai!!

Maan-the proverbial silent but angry young man. Lagta hai the CV's must be Amitabh Bachchan fans. 😆 Usne geet ki madat karne ki iccha nahin thi, but he saved her anyway. Hamara maan, dashing without even meaning to. 😍

Then that caring and courageous side-kaise geet ko brij se bachaaya!

The evil boss side-sorry gurmeet, we know you tried your best to act khadoos, but we fell in love with you anyway.

And then the SMILING side!!! That side who actually danced in a dhaba! And then that hug in the rain....

The sad side. 😭 I feel like killing this Sameera person. If she had not been there then Maan would have fallen in love with Geet ages back. But then agar woh na hoti to phir maan-geet ke jhagde and those 'mahi' moments would not have been there, so thank you Sameera!]

And the caring side again-before to he had already covered geet with his jacket, so we got to know ki woh itna bhi bura nahin that. But the way he takes care of dadi is so adorable! dadi ke har drama ko sach maan deta hain. and he actually went to dargah to pray for her! mera dil to dhak dhak karne laga... ❤️

So there it was...the changing shades of Maan and Geet.
