Editorial # 2 (Jul 26,2010) ' We're back again with applause, ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ a few suggestions and concerns for POPs.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

We begin with a thank you to the entire team of Pratigya for giving us episodes that promise lots of drama in the coming weeks.๐Ÿ‘We are glad the show is back on the right track heading towards closure of the courtroom drama this week.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Now let's put our hands together for a round of applause๐Ÿ‘ for Mr. Shanti Bhushan and his brilliant team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผfor the spot-on dialogues delivered by Krishna and Komal this week.๐Ÿ‘ We welcome Krishna! Krishna! Krishna's return to his honest, blunt and pragmatic ways of expressing his POV. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Words long overdue, that Krishna needed to say and Pratigya needed to hear.

What a treat it was to watch Krishna pose those pointed questions to his wife while she continued to hide behind the problems at her maike courtesy of her Papa, the idealistic Professor. Hopefully we will see her reflect on these questions when she takes the time to weigh her future and marriage for a change.๐Ÿ˜• It's about time! After all a strong woman focuses on the course of her own life once in a while. Arhaan Behll as Krishna gave us a brilliant performance๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผwith logical questions, simply put, leaving Pratigya stumped.๐Ÿ˜ฒ Let's see this trend continue as they, for once, concentrate on the future of their marriage.

Pratigya needs to understand the pressure Krishna has been under from his family bec' of her fixation with her maike and deal with it head on like she does her Papa's problems. It's time for her to grow up and leave her maike's self-generated problems at the drop of a hat and focus on her marriage for a change. Let's see Adarsh be a man, step in and take on the role of a son.

Komal needs to continue directing her candid opinions to the members of the Saxena family.๐Ÿ‘ They seriously need a wake up call to the reality of their hypocritical ways. It's a long time coming! She continues to be treated like an impostor and banished to her room time and again. When is Komal going to hold Adarsh's feet to the fire for neglecting their marriage and treating her with blatant indifference? She can shine as a strong woman who gets her marriage on the right track and the acceptance at her sasural.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Adarsh is an educated young man who prides on his shareef family and upbringing. Yet he seems to have been a gunda in training for a while. His silence and lack of conscience for his part in Angad's death is disturbing to watch. In all fairness, let's see him be held accountable for his role as accomplice to his father's actions that night?

It's about time we saw Kesar stand up to the Takurs now that Katra Naresh has crossed all boundaries of decency, blatantly violating SS's ghar ka kayada-kaanoons. Can we see her become a role model to other women living her plight around the country? Pratigya doesn't have to be the only woman on the show who can be a role model, does she?

Guruma is playing her "Sakuni" games already. She is manipulating Krishna with SS's help but how and where this will go is yet to be seen. Let's not waste a lot of time on the election track. It takes away from the reason why most of us watch the show, which is a love story between Krishna and Pratigya, Komal and Adarsh and now it seems very soon Arushi and Perry Mathur. BTW, isn't Arushi too young for a romance anyways? Can we first see the other two love stories progress a little further?

The upcoming week promises hard-hitting courtroom scenes acc' to articles and promos. We are expecting to see a realistic depiction of the drama and the proceedings and not a kangaroo court.๐Ÿ˜• Let us see Perry Mathur in action doing his bit of sachchayi ka saath dena. Let's see Prof. get an earful from the judge for misusing the judicial system and wasting taxpayer funds to solve his family's life problems. Please spare us the ganga-jamuna-bahana from the Saxenas inside the courtroom.

Media reports indicate that Krishna and Pratigya's marriage will survive once the shock of her closely guarded secret is revealed in court. We hope this track moves nice and easy for a few weeks. After all we are in no hurry.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ƒ Viewers will enjoy the gradual build up of the "getting closer" track rather than a rush through to accommodate the next track. Aaram se! ๐Ÿ˜‰ For starters, let's see Pratigya gradually warm up to Krishna with a few genuine smiles,๐Ÿ˜ƒ a few caring gestures ๐Ÿ˜‰besides laying out his clothes and bringing him chai, she's been there, done that. When she decides to make this a real marriage in every sense, let it be for the right reasons and not because she feels guilty for keeping secrets.

We will be back with our verdict in the next editorial after the courtroom drama ends and judgment is in.๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

you have covered everything ,Mera ...

That payal was displayed very significantly or was it a empty hype...in any case let that Payal highlight the essential difference betn the bro's when the Sil's are having their kitchen chat..

i also want Komal to pose some uncomfortable q's and Pratigya floundering and realizing her golden run in maika is being challenged...in other words..make Komal positively assertive...

This new Aarushi seems nice...let her be like this ...

Adarsh shud be grilled by the PP....would love to see him fumbling n stumbling ....

Mera, spot on. Everything that we want to see you've mentioned. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
I too would like to see the Kriya relationship evolve naturally rather than something arising out of guilt or gratitude. We've had months of a cold and uncaring pratigya, so hopefull we will have a few weeks of something nice between them rather than it being over within days b4 leaping into the next track.
From now on a balance should be shown between Kriya's relationship and whatever new tracks to be shown, not one overtaking over the other to the whole exclusion...๐Ÿ˜”
Now to see how the whole week progresses, we should get a better idea then.๐Ÿ˜‰

Meraria, you have beautifully covered everything. Do want to see the following things

Krishna-Pratigya relation progressing naturally and not out of guilt as that is equally bad for their relationship.Seriously we have waited for so long therefore won't mind waiting another month or so.

Adarsh needs maturing up. He is the eldest s needs to take the responsiblity of the house. till the time the prof was in the house he obeyed his father and his absence he waits for prats to make the decision. My perception of the Sucksena family is that they are educated and are shown dealing with issues very democratically compared to the Thakur family which is very patriarchal and feudal where the head of family has the last word but this doesn't mean the eldest son of the Sucksenas ends up becoming a wuss

Yes want to see Komal pose questions to Aadarsh about ther marriage and Kesar to start fighting her own battles
