Rajeev to romance Konkona in next

This musical comedy produced by Sa Re Ga Ma, has some similarities with the plot of Sujoy Ghosh's Jhankaar Beats. Rajeev plays a musician in the film.

A source reveals, "Rajeev is not playing a rock star like Ranbir is in Imtiaz Ali's next film. Rajeev is playing a music composer and he sports a very interesting look in the film, which is currently being kept under wraps."

Apparently, Rajeev will be learning how to play some musical instruments for the film. As for Konkona's role, the source adds, "Though Konkona is playing the female lead in the film, there is a second female character in the film and the producers are waiting to cast a relatively new girl for that part."

Konkona was the director's first choice, we are told. Rajeev refused to comment.
