Kumkum and Co are getting older. The latest to join the fast forward bandwagon is Star's afternoon soap, Kumkum. It is learn that the channel folks had a meeting with the producers, BAG Films, a few days ago. The daily is slated to have a 20-year leap in April.

Along with the generation next, Kumkum will also air five days a week. Apparently Kumkum's actors have agreed to be part of the leap. Though the new cast has yet to be finalised, Kumkum (Juhi Parmar), who is pregnant, will deliver twins.

This will make her mother of three kids (there's already one child, Dhruv (Ronak Bhatiya) from Jatin (Anuj Saxena).

The leap will provide yet another twist to Kumkum and Sumeet's (Hussain Kuwajerwalla) saga. Meanwhile the character of Jatin's impersonator Manik (Saxena) makes an exit from the show when Kumkum's Gen Next arrives.

me too! i dont wnat kukmkum and sumeet to go old liek otehr serials! they wont look like mother inlaws and everythign and the show will be abt kids not kumkum and sumeet!

this is all true, kk is going to take a generation leap , this news is in mid-day., guys,pls do something , this shd not happn, and the way this article states tht manik makes an exit in april only when the gennext arrives tht means we have to see sukk still reunited for a long time., guys kuch karo, mujhe kahin chakkar na aa jaye???

i don't kumkum to take the gen. leap...now serial is diff. frm all others due to this, but aft the leap it will be same as others! Hope the director changed his mind!
