Rohit Roy I met Mansi (Joshi) through a common friend, Durga Jasraj, Pandit Jasraj's daughter. I was an assistant director at the time and Mansi was a model. I had seen pictures of her. Durga told me a friend of hers was sick. She was going to visit and asked me to come along. I wasn't interested initially, but when I realised the friend in question was Mansi, I changed my mind immediately. The moment I met Mansi, I knew she was the kind of person I would want to spend my life with. The media has portrayed me as a ladies' man, but I am actually a family person. We soon started seeing each other. I was rocking on television but cinema was my real dream. I was working towards making it in the movies.
One day, suddenly, Mansi brought up the topic of marriage. Within two days, I fixed a date, spoke to my mother and we were married.
