July 20 Written update

Part 1

Gaurav calls his Mom to see who has come. Soham says that the pundit from the temple has sent him and gives an impressive introduction. Shivam chuckles seeing this funny character. Soham eagerly asks for Ramakant. He almost mentions the word chicken but quickly corrects himself. Shivam & Gaurav

Bharat & Avni are packing to leave. Avni says she still has to tell him something. He tries to avoid again but she insists. Bharat gets angry and says he had told her before that he doesn't want to know about her past. Avni asks him why and he blurts out that he doesn't want to lose in love for a second time. Avni is shocked at his response. He turns away from her for a while then tells her that he had liked a girl before and they were preparing to get married. One day she suddenly decided to tell him that she had a past; that she had loved someone else before him. He couldn't handle that truth and every time he was with her after that he would think that she was thinking about her past boyfriend. It created a lot of tension in their relationship and it eventually ended.

He tells Avni that he really loves her and doesn't want to lose her that's why he refuses to hear anything about her past. He loves her so much and she's in his life now that's all that matters to him…nothing else. Avni breaks down in tears and hugs him. He comforts her and they both regain their composure. He says he'll arrange for a taxi for them to leave now but stops and looks at her. He asks Avni to promise him that their life will always be happy like this, only happiness and no stress. She smiles at him to reassure him and he leaves but as she watches him go you can see the expression on her face change because she's feeling his pain.

Soham is preparing vegetables and talking to himself saying Kavita my love look at all that I have to do for you my love, but I hope that my plan will work and I'll win for fathers' approval and be able to marry you.

Ganga comes and gives him money to buy vegetables. He's happy thinking that he can go and by a nice meal of chicken. He bumps into Ramakantji as he's leaving.

Part 2

Soham is overjoyed to meet Ramkant. He greets him and rushes off.

Avni is talking to Aastha on the phone explaining what happened. She says that after Bharat explained his past experience to her she couldn't believe that she was going to ruin everything by telling him about Alok. Aastha says she understands her confusion but wanted to know if Bharat wasn't curious to know what it is she wanted to tell him. Avni says she told him about her parents divorce. Aastha asks if Bharat is ok now. Avni says he is more relaxed now and he believes that he is her first love. Avni says Bharat is very happy now but she feels very guilty and doesn't know what to do. Aastha advises her to forget her past now and just live happily with Bharat. Avni feels a little better. She hangs up the phone and looks at Bharat's smiling photo on the wall. She manages a little smile.

Soham learns the Gayatri mantra and as soon as he sees Ramakantji he starts to chant it. His eyes are closed and he's lost in his chanting. Ghanti comes and flirts with Soham. Meena sees this and calls out to her to clean her room. She orders Soham to bring some juice for her. He says he has to take something to Krishna first but she scolds him. Soham says to himself as soon as he gets married to Kavita he'll have to teach Meena proper English.

Aastha asks Shivam if he thinks it's wrong for Avni to hide her past from Bharat. Shivam says he doesn't know if it's right or wrong but he's just worried if Alok should return later and cause problems for them or if Bharat should find out about the truth some time later then it would be really terrible!!! He says Bharat is a really sensitive person. Aastha reassures him that nothing like that will happen because good things happen to good people. Shivam feels reassured and asks about Krishna. Aastha tells him that Krishna likes the food made by the new cook.

Ramakant & Soham are walking together and he is telling Soham which shops are safe to buy from. Kavita's soon-to-be father in law meets them and he tells them that soon they will be coming soon with gifts for Kavita. Soham becomes worried.

Part 3

Ramakant tells him that Kavita will be returing tomorrow and he has told her to quit her job. Samdhiji asks if she is willing to do this and Ramakant confirms that she will obey. Samdhiji leaves and Soham quickly asks Ramakant if he's sure that his daughter will quit her job to get married. Ramakant reminds him that he should speak only when spoken to.

Shivam & Bharat are returning to Bharat's home together. Shivam says he's relieved that Bharat is back. Avni comes she tells him to get fresh soon and she'll serve tea. Bharat tells Shivam that he was missing her all day and she just walks in smililng. He leaves to go and freshen up. Shivam smiles and tells Avni that Bharat really was missing her very much all day. Avni is verynervous and asks Shivam if Aastha has told him everything about her past. He says yes. Avni folds her hands and begs him not to say anything to Bharat. Shivam feels embarrassed and assures her that he & Aastha respect her decision and if she keeps worrying about it like this it will be difficult for her to cope, he believes that everything will be ok so she should just forget about the whole matter and be happy with Bharat. He tells her that if (God forbid) her past should come up later he will talk to Bharat because Bharat he will listen to him. Trust him when he tells her that Bharat loves her very much and his love for her will not lessen. He says he'll go to meet Indiraji. Avni tries to think positive.
