Aayi Sahib - Typical Selfish Soap Mother???

I am jumping the gun here but Aayi Sahib's character is getting pathetic. I used to find it quite different from the usual soap mother's but it seems like it'll come down to her simply caring about her son at any cost - I mean she was the first soap mother who I saw push her son towards Don-giri. She may very well bring Naku back to the PM but not with the least bit care or concern for Naku but simply to save her son's life. I know a mother would go to any extent for her child but it seems like Aayi Sahib feels she is the only mother who matters - Babi doesn't. I actually hope Aayi Sahib fails in bringing back Naku based on this pundit logic. The more the show progresses it seems like except Dutta who being the don ironically is the most selfless person in that house and the women of the house who in a ideal world represent selflessness (particularly in TV land) are anything but that.

yea i'm starting to grow a dislike for her. for a mother who cries for every little thing that happens to her son i wonder why she would allow him to become a don? (most of us are assuming that she's BH) I would think a don's mother would be very strong and confident especially if she was okay with him going into this business.

Dunno if she is the BH. But looks like for now Dutta will bring Naku home after their honeymoon. Then AS will tell Dutta that she wants Naku to stay on either as his wife or as the maid. I guess she will chose maid.

yea i don't think she'll ask naku to stay as his wife. naku probably is going to stay in the house where her family is.

You are right I think she will be selfish in this case to save her son.
But the whole show is a juxtapose, those who are in the 'wrong' seem to have more sense and moral compared to those who are 'righteous', who preach what they don't practice. Then you have Naku and her family who are in the middle with a father who drinks, a mother trying to keep her daughter from the bad people in the world and a clueless sweet brother.
Then again AS and Babi are no different coz they both are and will be doing what they think is the best for their child.
Even the sisters (supposedly good) that would go to the extent of hurting Supriya but are afraid if something happened to Dutta, which is for their selfish reasons of course.
The Free loaders (Sudarshan and Kishore) are just the opposite of each other.

Not sure how will Naku and Dutta react to this.

But will Dutta even allow Naku to be used for such selfish purposes. And if Naku is asked to stay without Dutta knowing the real purposes it spells major trouble between the two once he finds out the truth. Secret after secret kept from him.
