I have heard Jal's "Woh Lamhe". They sound so bad in the album but in the movie they sound awesome! Why, so? I have Juda hoke from the movie... love the song.

Would like to mention 'Kahi to nazar milao' too...
I think it is one of the most romantic duets sung in the recent times..

Thanks MPL. Yes it is 'Sukhwinder Singh Naamdhari'. I checked it out with my father too. He is very good. I havnt seen him live though.

Fuzon is a Pakistani band. I think you have seen the 'Mora saiyyan" video. It is inspired from "Kaagaz ke phool". The video is black and white and is about a director who discovers an actress.

I must admit, it was the visual effect that first caught my attention. It is in B&W… Talat Aziz is singing and there's a dreamy sequence of a girl dancing… (she's the lead actress of Sony's old serial Kutumb… Gauri Pradhan) to a haunting background melody. The women are dressed in traditional Kerala style … and that is partly what caught my eye because that's my home state!!!
