After that intense bashan of Maan ... Just to kill the weekend!!!
Just a thought process????
How many of u take ur job personally????
I mean u kind of start going out of ur way to finish your work... Like extra mile???
Those who are not working ..like students could relate to some one they know??? Or when think of ur self in future...
Personally I take my work very very personally... I get totally involved... Not only I involve..I get my family also involved... So it is always been like an extended family for me.. When it comes to work!!!
I find it very difficult to detach myself!!! It's not that I don't draw a line!!! But offcourse if my boss says it is a dead line.. We have to really push ourselves... I go all out!!!! Sleepless nights.. I kind of get really attached to my co-workers.. Ok don't get naughty..here 😳
I mean I start caring about them.. I would know exactly wat is happening in their personal and professional life!!!!
I have seen lots of people being very professional.. Totally detached!!!! But I feel they don't enjoy wat they are doing!!! They may be wonderfull at work!!! But I feel some thing lacking!! That's t I feel!!!

When Maan says, you are not working for me.. U are working for the company..ok
Then BTW.. She is a secretary... Why on the earth he entrusted this project on her at the first place,.. Had it been professional terms... She can say.. I am just secretary and my job profile doesn't expect me to do all that????..ok we all know he is just trying to hide his emotions???

But the question wat I am asking you is personal or professional????

Well we all know that Mann's decision for taking Geet off the project is personal not professional.

have been very professional...

going the extra mile to me was doing my work diligently and it that meant i have to be at office till the wee hours then i did, not because, my boss asked or i found that it was the right thing to do but because i loved my work.

i found it enthralling to finish something that i started and would not rest till i completed it. it was a matter of personal pride but being professional means just that isn't it?

dedication to what you do

being personal would to me mean letting feeling affect the way you do work for whom to work.
i never did anything to impress anyone or anybody or i did it because number one it was my job or i wanted to get ahead and needed to learn new things, take up new challenges and prove my worth to the organisation by giving the best i could in varied situations.

I was friendly with everyone, even had great friends but when it came to work, my work ethic did not allow me to discuss matters related to work if it was confidential with other members my team even if we met outside office hours.

i was in a situation where you have boss and you have subordinates..typical middle management, so i had friends who my boss's boss and friends who were my subordinate but my personal feelings for any one would not should not enter when conducting oneself in office work

so yes..Maan is completely personal..about everything where Geet is concerned...
his dealings with Sasha is professional even tho she is known personally to him she is his munshiji's daughter...

i am rambling now...

Wow.... Kudos to you....Its a great talent to keep our personal life and professional life separate....

I try to keep them seperate like that always.... But there were some instances where I felt that my boundaries were overlapping....

Anyway as much as possible I kept my personal life away from professional life...

Now coming to Maan, I completely agree what you said in that last paragraph.... For Maan everything regarding Geet is personal, whereas everyone else is professional.....

Ann.

I try to keep it professional, like to leave the work at work and be myself at home.. i would probably go crazy if i brought my work at home AHHHH

but yeah Maan is very UNPROFESSIONAL at least after geet arrived in the office
