Now coming to Maan, I completely agree what you said in that last paragraph.... For Maan everything regarding Geet is personal, whereas everyone else is professional.....

yeah i am not a saint and i am sure..somewhere my personal and professional viewpoints might have overlapped but..yes being straight forward or knowing what one wants always helps...

I am working in Software Organization..And u can see daily lots of politics happening in this corporate industry..
So I always keep my professional and personal life seperate..
I never discuss my personla life with my collegues and never have discussion of collegues with my frends..
As soon as i leave the office..what matters me is my family and frends..I just forget what I have done in my office..
I do have great frends in my office..But I try to keep distance with them..U never know when collegues will turn out to be enemies..
Some aspects I can relate my life with Geet serial..
When Maan assignes all the project works to Sasha..Geet asks y he did so..
Yes it happens in our office work also..Whenever we have appreciation,or hike..if we dont get for what we have worked..I feel we need a reason for not getting hike or appreciation..
Forget about the hike..But atleast they should give a valide reson y we r not capable.
But our mangaer never give a reason..That is Maans attitude..I am the boss and u r the employee..

I love my work very much..But as soon as i leave office I just forget office stuffs..
And I feel its good to keep professional and personal life seperate.

I totally agree with you. If one has to enjoy their work, then they have to love their work. If they love their work, they will obviously feel it personal. I for one who takes my work very personal, and the ups & downs of my works, affect me like bugs. Even my daughter knows when I lose or gain a tender, or miss a dead line with product delivery when my customer is happy. Off course I get free advice from my boss @ works & hubby @ home that I should take my work so personal that affects my mind too much. But they themselves are like that so all in all, it is not possible to love your work but still be only professional.

I wish I could do as you do. Keep the work @ office and back @ home, you are free from all the tension. But it is not at all possible for me as a sales Executive. I have to keep track of the products @ shop floor that I don't mis my commitment to customer. But when if comes to my personal life, that will never enter my office, the moment I enter my office, I will forget about all the tensions of home. I will have to keep reminders to meet some of my duties (if I have to fulfil during working hrs, like call the school etc.)
But it really required to keep your personal life & professional life separate. Otherwise you will fail in both. never bring in your personal agony to office.else you will end up making mistakes which were not of your style. If you bring office tension home, you will end up hurting your own people.
