In today's ep. (Monday, 12th June 2010), Amoli switched from saying "tum" to "aap" đ đđź while addressing the Thakur - actually, the Thakur's portrait. Finally! Now, we no longer get to see her call Radhey 𤢠"aap" while she calls DV "tum". At least I *hope* we don't.

Hours after the ep. (Wednesday, 14th June 2010), I still feel livid. More for Amoli's backtracking to the "tum" đĄ while addressing DV than about her decision 𤢠to 'leave' the marriage.
This ep. has just left me mad as hell. And we're unlikely to get any respite until Amoli stops dancing to Puneet's and Ganga's tunes. Why oh why couldn't one or both of them have died in Shakuntala's place? Never a timely accident in tellyverse when it's sorely needed, darnit.
I knew Amoli would probably need more time to acknowledge her feelings even to herself and some other crisis would have to compel her to it. But why did she have to call DV "tum"? What, his portrait rates an "aap" but he doesn't?
A touch of good sense was shown by Puneet who, no matter how cocky he was feeling, knew enough about self-preservation not to gloat to DV that he was the one who had goaded Amoli into this latest decision of hers. Instead, into his gloating, he slipped in the lie - smart boy - that he didn't even need to do anything and the whole disaster happened on its own.
I want DV to win Amoli because I'm rooting for him and he's the only reason this show is worth watching. But there are too many times when Amoli's sheer gullibility and idiocy make it feel like we're foisting an albatross on DV rather than a prize.

Today's ep. (Thursday, 12th June 2010) produced a delightful something at the very end. âď¸ After calling DV "tum" all through the episode, Amoli thinks one-sidedly to him after he leaves and it's all "aap". đ So the girl does respect this reformed DV a great deal, but knows a huge thing like switching from "tum" to "aap" would be as good as an acknowledgement of feelings - which she isn't yet willing to make even to herself.
Okay, fine. So long as Amoli keeps up with the "aap" while thinking to DV and talking to his portrait, we can wait patiently for the day she'll acknowledge her feelings.
At least in Radhey's case, she induced herself to fall in love with him, with a lot of encouragement from her mother and the belief that committing herself to the marriage would cause DV to get distanced from her.
This time around, she's trying to induce herself not to be in love with DV.
If she could induce herself to fall in love with a nice guy simply to put a barrier between herself and DV, she's fighting a losing battle when it comes to the love she's now feeling for DV. This time, this love - it's grown against her will, and is the stronger for it.

Yes!Today's ep. (Friday, 16th July 2010) had two fantastic things to end the week with. Amoli *finally* addressed DV as "aap". đ No longer sure how soon her pendulum will oscillate back to "tum", but at least this is a start.
And Kajri who, by salting Puneet's lost-court-case wound too early, inadvertently prompted him into goading Amoli to leave the house, has now realised that nothing would wound him worse than DV and Amoli coming together.
Kajri's gratitude to DV and Amoli was also a very nice touch. âď¸
DV's mother, Suren and Chandana are loyal to him because he's been good to his blood relations even at his worst. But any other kindness to anyone at cost to himself he only ever did for Amoli's sake or because she was at least peripherally involved.
Kajri became absolute evidence of just how much DV has reformed because it was in Kajri's case that Amoli's involvement clearly wasn't causative in DV's actions at the start or the end of the mess.
His wanting to protect Kajri and ensure her honour was restored by the marriage to Puneet were more because of his guilt for Kaumudi ending up in a highclass brothel and his desire to ensure that Puneet didn't accomplish in malice what DV had as a negligent side-effect to his obsession even before it truly developed into love.
His forgiving and protecting Kajri despite the harm she had done to him was fathoms away from the man who carelessly ruined Kaumudi's life by exercising droit de seigneur or who forced his brother and Shobhana into a marriage both were unwilling to get into. An enraged insult from the girl his brother ruined was once cause enough for him to wreck the rest of her life. And it is that same DV who offered Kajri a quiet reassurance when she chose for herself what he had forced upon Shobhana. The difference this time was that Puneet would be good to his wife to a large extent so long as he got to play the hero to DV's villain. And DV had changed indeed, enough to swallow his pride for a girl who wronged him despite never having been wronged by him.
Regarding Kaumudi, it would be a nice move if Suren married her. DV's guilt would be assuaged and the Damocles' sword of Dipesh marrying Kaumudi would be removed from over Chandana's head, in one perfect stroke.
Getting back to Kajri, we needed a deus ex machina to get DV and Amoli together and hopefully Kajri is it.
And the best thing about this ep. besides Amoli calling DV "aap" to his face and Kajri deciding to unite DV and Amoli đ is that the constant niggling worry that Amoli would turn up pregnant with Radhey's kid 𤢠- yes, it's been a heck of a long time but serials seem to have no comprehension of time - is finally put to rest. Dislike for Dipesh's mother aside, bless her for stating that it's been too long after Radhey's death for Amoli to be pregnant by him. Yippee! Oh, thank God. đ
