To all those who liked Vaishnavi's performance...I respect your choice. I agree, she is a fabulous dancer....but I disagree that this dance was helpful to prove that "Vaishnavi can do all styles"....The broadway/ jazz portion was very weak in it...she did it in a style she is very good at...Bollywood. And she was really good in it...so it overshadowed the other....but I think that declaring "Vaishnavi can do everything" needs more support than what we have seen so far. She has proven to me she can do classical, she can do Bollywood, folk excellently but still has to prove to me she can do Jazz well, she can do ballroom well, and she can do contemporary well😊. Her performances in these styles has been less than par so far...may be with more coaching she will get there...but she is not there yet.😊
Having said that...I do think that Vaishnavi has already shown what a strong contender she is for the top spot....so no doubt about that. After all these are still kids and there is a lot more to learn...

Papiya (7.0) --> Yikes, not what I expected from her. I felt her execution was sloppy and i completely agree with Geeta and Farahma about how she seemed heavy footed. There were no breaks in her movements which is why it seemed like there was no flow. I loved the cartwheel into split though, but i prefer her other hiphop performance much over this one. Also, agreed with Farah about too much expressions. Yes, you need expressions in bollywood/hiphop performances, but they need to be in control.
