Ramgopal Varma's DARNA ZAROORI HAI was confirmed for March 31 release. But the prolific film-maker has decided to re-schedule the film to April 21. With school and college exams getting over by then, everyone's hopeful that the business would get a big boost from mid-April onwards. According to reports reaching us, Kunal Kohli has completed the shooting of his Aamir-Kajol starrer FANAH. Only a few days shooting is pending, which would be completed in the near-future. Yashraj will begin 2006 with FANAH [in May]. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's SAAWARIYA, which marks the debut of Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir and Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam, with Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji essaying pivotal roles, will have a majestic release worldwide. According to sources, the producers, Sony, are planning to give it a wide release [a massive print count is on the cards]. Also, it will be released worldwide with sub-titles; thus SAAWARIYA will be the first Hindi film to reach out to the global audience at one go. |
