Okay I need to rant. Coz how bloody good are Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget!! These two brilliant actors take every scene of theirs to another level. And when their together, I'm sorry but the chemistry is beyond electrifying.☺️ So I'm not going to talk much about the scene since I already see a lot of posts appreciating it, but rather the emotions behind it.
So there were Armaan and Ridhima. Once again at loggerheads...the only difference being that their not lovers now. Ridhima enters the room, looks at everybody, and then her gaze falls upon the one man that she trusts with her life. And she starts her screaming and blame game as usual, coz hello, she KNOWS that he loves her and is used to taking all the crap she throws his way.
And we come to Armaan. I was all ready for him to be the usual selfless lover who doesn't mind bearing it all for the woman he loves. But surprise surprise, Dr. Armaan is pissed off at the video of Sid and Ridhima. So he takes it out by giving it back to her. He screams sarcastic replies back at her and finally he defends Shilpa. And that's what does it for Ridhima.
She turns back and they face each other. You can clearly see the anger on Armaan's face and the shock on Ridhima's face. And damn is this a good start to great deal of jealousy on her part. So she gives up, and so unlike of her, accepts defeat and leaves. And as expected, by seeing that, Armaan gives up his stance and stares at her with wounded eyes. Because after all he still loves her. He decides to go after her but doesn't...because he just KNOWS her too well.
The AR scene was intense and plain brilliant. These two are far from being over each other. This is just the start. The actual war is going to begin. And that is what will eventually bring them closer again.
