Big B's Ooty concerns

Amitabh Bachchan was in Ooty for three days for his shoot for the Malyalam film Kandahar with Mohan Lal. In his blog , Big B wrote " I have been here to shoot Dostana, Mard , Aakhri Raasta and Hum. It's been a while since I've come here and I wonder whether Ooty has become more crowded and if the forests and hills and lakes have been left in their pristine condition."

Kandahar is based on hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight IC-814 in 1999 and it is directed by Ravi who has earlier directed films like Keerthichakara and Kurukshetra . When Ravi offered Big B the offer Bachchan was pleased to accept it, " I have seen Ravi's work and always wanted to work with him. More than that, Mohan Lal is also there in the film so I am very excited about it. The film industry in the south has made its own mark in filmmaking and I am proud to be part of it," adds Bachchan.
