I may give you some hint.

Jassi & Armaan love each other so much that they cannot fight against each other. Its difficult or deadly for them. As you have seen y'day Jassi cannot see Armaan being defeated in COSMOS fashion show or any other thing as she said to Nazneez, Rubymam she will not compete and was thrilled to meet Armaan which overheard by Pari and JaggB. Same way Jassi knows that Armaan loves her so much that at any cost Armaan will not allow to Jassi be defeated at any cost. He will accept his won defeat but not Jassi's. When Aryan heard the matter from Chamcha & Chamchi that Armu wants to meet Jassi he took the full advantage and throw some cunning condition before Jassi for her stay at GM or of go off from GM. Jassi knows Armaan will not compete against her and his own dream of being successful will be shattered and obviously he will do this to make Jassi win. And out of love for Armaan Jassi wants him to win. Just to boost him she threaten him, challenged him and hurt him so he gets irritated and feel to defeat Jassi and do the project with his best ability and win. Jassi had no otherways to make Armaan stands against him. (But let see what our Armaan darling does)
