Hello everyone,

I thought i'd put in my summary of what i thought of bidaai from June 2009 uptil June 2010.
I stopped watching in 2009 due to work but always had the intention of coming back and catching up.

And i have to say i enjoyed every episode and storyline that RS and the CT gave us.
I decided to go back and read some topics and comments to see what the general consensus was and i seem to have found few people not happy with the negativity, the break up of the sister, alekh divorce and sadhna thrown out of the Rajvansh house.....But i honestly think that in comparison to some of the other SP shows of the past Bidaai did it quite well.

We got some amazing performances out of the actors and great rollercoaster of emotion, angst, love, happiness and sadness.

For the growth of the characters the situation and stories were necessary, for instance...
Aalekh realising how much he truly loves Sadhana, he had to lose her to realise her value and what she did for him (rememeber he was mentally unstable when he married her so wasn't aware of what he was getting)

For the sisters to realise their love and eternal bond they had to go through the test of separation as with any relationship you have to go through different periods to come out stronger on the other side and yes we had to see the darker shades of Ragini but in the end it made her grow and realise that she could always trust Sadhana no matter what.

Same goes for all the other family members that doubted Sadhana and mistreated her.
And we got to see some amazing scenes like the dance competition (the girls were amazing), the angst/love scenes between salekh, Sadhana helping her loved ones regardless, Ranvir helping his Bhabi and the Ragini/Sadhana reunion.

BUT....i also noticed how many fans weren't happy with the tracks and this led to perhaps RS rethinking his storyline strategy and getting rid of his CT team and going down a completely new track which leads me to the current angle the show has taken

I can't help but think that maybe we as the viewers had something to do with the whole reason for RS to take a leap, bring in children etc thus making the actors think whether they wanted to play older characters etc.

I know it's done now but i just feel that it needn't have happened and had i been watching up to date at the time i would have wholeheartedly backed the storylines at the time.

For me now i've lost interest in wanting to watch bidaai without the original 4.
Admittedly i watch the odd clip for Aalekh but i just feel depressed that the one show that i would watch is now over for me

What are your views, because in hindsight i think RS did right by bidaai with the tracks he chose...it still consistently performed well with the exception of the IPL which probably affected it more rather than the common thought that it was the tracks.

This show has had very little happiness...too much sorrow...and it has lost it's purpose...it was supposed to be about the journey of two sisters, Sadhna and Ragini...
