Everyone reaches the place where the function is to be held. Ammaji tells the villagers that the function has been arranged - firstly, Chanda and Avtar are going to be proud parents and secondly, Jogi is going to become one of the Panchs in the village Panchayat. Everyone rejoices and Ammaji instructs that the function be started.
Everyone enjoys themselves as the function starts. Raghav looks at Sia and is happy to see her smiling. After a while, Chanda feels unwell and tells Sheela that she wants to go back to the haveli to take rest. Sheela offers to go back with her but Chanda insists that Sheela stays back and enjoys the function. She offers to take Gunja back with her instead. As they leave the area, Avtar comes to Chanda and offers to go back with her to the haveli. Chanda tells him that since the function has been organised in the name of their child, one of them should stay behind. Chanda and Gunja then leaves for the haveli. Gaji also slips out of the function area unnoticed.
As Gunja and Chanda reaches the haveli, Gunja asks Chanda to go to her room and lie down and tells her that she will get a glass of warm milk for her. Chanda goes to her room, but before entering it decides to go to the Puja room and pray. She is happy now that everything is going on fine and wanted to thank God for the same. Gaji stealthily enters the haveli and comes upto Chanda' room and pulls the latch from outside and then goes away. Chanda returns and finds the latch drawn. She is puzzled but thinks that she must have drawn it herself. She thinks that she can't remember anything properly and should go inside and rest. She enters her room and goes and lays down.
Gunja is carrying a glass of milk on the tray and walking towards Chanda's room, when Gaji pulls her inside and locks the door. Gunja throws everything around and hits Gaji on his head; but he overpowers her and throws her on the bed. At that moment, Sunehri calls and asks Gaji if he is still upset with her and when is he coming to take her back? Gaji shouts at her and asks her to stay there and disconnects the phone. Gunja calls out for Chanda. Chanda hears her voice but thinks that she must be imagining since there is no one else in the haveli. Meanwhile, Gunja pushes Gaji off and rushes towards the door and succeeds in opening the latch as well. But at that moment, Gaji aims his revolver at her and re-latches the door. He forces her on the bed and tells Gunja that there are only two options before her - either to struggle and die, followed by the death of her fiance, Krishna or to give in to his demands. Gunja tells him that she would rather choose death and tries to reach for Gaji's gun. Chanda does hear Gunja's voice and comes out searchign for her. As she passes by Gaji's room, she notices Gaji with Gunja and the gun, through a crack in the open window. In the turmoil, Gaji fires the gun and the bullet hits Gunja's stomach.
Gaji lets go off Gunja and finds his hands covered with blood, there are blood stains on his face as well. He tries to wipe it off with his handkerchief and picks the gun up from Gunja;'s hand, wipes it and puts it inside his pocket. He then rushes out of the room.
Gunja slowly leaves the bed, but her head is swimming and her vision narrows down. She thinks of Krishna; their meeting in the garden; his promise to return back with money and then take her away; Sia gifting her the ring. She then stumbles and falls down on the floor.
Precap : Chanda rushes into the room and goes to Gunja. She picks up Gunja's head and places it on her lap and tries to keep her in her senses and asks what had ensued. Gunja splutters once or twice and then falls silent.
Poor Gunja! Death of innocence.

Poor Chanda, now she will be in a false position. No one will believe her and they will try to shush her down.
