and as for the question why did mayank fulfill nupurs wishes?

in that line he says twice, first after the confession- main vaada karta hoon ki yeh jo smile aaj tumhare face par hain vo kabhi mitne nahin doonga

and then after the wedding when he says-- bas tumhara yah smile aisa hi rahe --just after saying mayank to zindagi bar ke liye atak gaya....

he tells his mom right in the beginning- pehli baar aisa laga that ki mera bhi koi dost hai... his window to the world was nupur. nupur gave him samrat s friendship as well. it was bcoz of her that he started living .....though he must ve been happy before her, with her his life was roller coaster ride...kabhi upar kabhi neeche... never calm, always turbulant. maybe thats why

or maybe he could never be happy without her being happy. so he was selfish in trying to keep her smiling.... crap. no, mayank was one person who always put nupurs feelings before anything else.
i dont know gagan and all others too.

whenever i think of mayur, i always think of the post-confession talk and walk

when mayank says "aaj main apni life main bahut khush hoon aur uska reason tum ho"

also he says "main janta hoon mere mood swings se cope up karna bahut difficult hai...main akdu hoon, sadu hoon...lekin main jaanta hoon ke sirf ek ladki mujhe handle kar sakti hai...aur yeh soch kar mujhe bahut khushi hoti hai ke woh tum ho"

he loves her for loving him for the person he is.....he feels most comfortable being himself when he is with her.....and thats why he loves her so much

remember nupur told him in the library "mujhe mera husband serious hi achha lagta hai"
