Why is the DT so inaccessible?

I've been pushed to the extent that this topic became a necessity. Why is the DT so inaccessible? Particularly the channel moderators, the GMs and the admins? We have no idea who is active, who is inactive, whom to PM and whom not to PM.

@PARACHUTE - I pmed you exactly an hour ago during which time you were online. My issue however can wait. But there are people whose issues cannot. And maybe one hour means nothing to the DT here, but it means alot to the members facing a grievance.

Though I am not part of this particular team of I-F, I would just like to state a few points, There is a process in moderation, at first Viewbie's should be contact for any normal queries and issues and if the issue is signficant then you should contact the Moderator or Channel Moderator. Like you have mentioned that, quantity of you have no idea which Moderator to contact or who is active and who is not, then I believe the 'whichever' sections you have in mind, the moderators of that section should have left a note on the forum stating that he/she is away due to certain reasons. Some moderators even leave a note on their Sig box about their Moderation Status.

Admins are usually busy with technical stuff on I-F, Specially Vijay Bhai. Priya Di, on the other hand, is looking into all moderation, promotion thoroughly this time. Come to think about it, I've also been told that she has been checking her PM's and is returning PM's to help members. Maybe you can contact her for this 'picky' issue you have. About Global Moderators, I have no idea who is currently active, as I have been inactive for sometime myself.

I can't say much in regards to your comment, but I would like to say that there numerous moderators that work behind the scene, I am sure you are aware of Discussion section for the Moderators where they discuss and Plan a lot of stuff for the forum. Yes, number of moderators do their work from there. It's not true at all that moderators back out, as far as I am aware, they do contribute towards the happenings in their respective forums.

Finally, if you are not heard by a week or so, feel free to post any queries or anything in this section or try to contact a Mod who you know and try to get the issues solved via him/her.

The point is, you try to do something good on site, and it doesn't work because the mods are so absent and inaccessible. I can try PMing Priya aswell, but what's the guaruntee it'll work? Besides, isn't it another day gone waste?

Hey, First of all I just would like to clear one thing, by writing the word 'picky' I meant in terms 'Particular' i tend to use different words that have the same meaning. 3 days and still no respond?

I am just a coolbie, I do written update and nothing but that. I have no access to any moderation skill or whatever. I understand where you are coming from. Well, if you personally feel that the absences of moderator having a significant affect then, I advise you to contact Priya di, and don't hesitate to write what is right. Members deserve to be heard and the higher authorities deserve to know. That's all I can say.

@Imran - Thankyou, I have PMed Priya and I'm hoping that she would reply. Yes, it has been 3 days. Plus, it's a contest, it works against a deadline. By the time the mods GA it, half the time would have already gone.
