This Saturday, catch Sandip Soparrkar shaking a leg with his family on the sets of DID Li'l Masters. To witness a special episode dedicated to the dance forms Sandip specializes in, be it Latin American ball room dancing, Waltz, Fox Trot or Cha Cha Cha, Sandip's family - his mom and dad , wife - super model Jesse Randhawa and son Arjun were present to root for him with full vigor and enthusiasm.
The kids were also equally enthusiastic about impressing their Sandip sir in the dance forms which are primarily his forte. Farah loved Manoj and Avneet's Paso doble act. And they also got Hats off from Sandip sir. "Paso doble is a very difficult dance form and to do it with perfection is a commendable thing to achieve," said the ace choreographer.
He was more impressed by Manoj who awed him with his fencing and knee roll. The moment to capture was when Manoj invited Jesse on stage and they did a jig together. Sandip was total ga ga over his wife's performance. Said the doting husband, "She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." Jesse echoed the same sentiment and replied, "I love attending the shows which Sandip is a part of... I get to hear loads of compliments from him."
Jesse and Sandip's ballroom dance floored everyone. Said Farah, "I have heard a lot about your performances together but had never seen it. Let me tell you - it was worth a watch! Jesse is the most beautiful and graceful dancer I have ever come across." It was fun to watch Farah and Sandip's father match their steps on the ever green song 'Ena Meena Dika...'
His parents still marvel at the fact that Sandip took up dancing as a career. "No one has ever been interested in dance in our family before," they said. Sandip is qualified to teach all Latin American and Standard Ballroom Dances such as Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Jive, Paso Doble, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Tango.
