Ranchi's MJ pays tribute to Jacko
It's been a year since the world lost one of its finest artists, fondly known as the King of Pop, the phenomenon that made millions go crazy and who changed the face of music forever, Michael Jackson.
A year later, undoubtedly one of his biggest fans, who looks up to MJ as a father figure, Viren, the captain of Chak Dhoom Dhoom, the kids dance reality show, pays tribute to his inspiration. 12-year-old Viren R Baraik from Ranchi has been fascinated by Jackson ever since he was old enough to learn how to dance. Remembering MJ on his death anniversary, a teary-eyed Viren explains how he loved and looked up to the man who taught the world how to dance to music. He remembers his idol's favourite songs, his favourite dance numbers and thanks MJ for his own identity as Ranchi Ka Michael Jackson.
Coming from a tribal family, Viren's uncanny style of dancing which he modelled after MJ's inimitable style made him popular in his area and also got him noticed on shows like India's Got Talent and now on Chak Dhoom Dhoom that airs every Fri-Sat at 9 pm on Colors.
