Article: karan brings social awareness into acting

It had already been reported by TellyCafe that Karan Mehra, with the support of his fianc Nisha Rawal, is opening an Acting institution called RIRO (Reel IN Real Out), mainly for the street children. It will give the students muc more than a chance to act and dance. The institute adapts social responsibility as a vital aspect of acting. RIRO students performed small skits on Social causes like 'Water conservation' and 'technology side effects' at Inorbit Mall, Malad, yesterday.

Nisha says enthusiastically, "The institute serves a twofold purpose by giving an opportunity to those who cannot afford professional acting courses and by spreading social awareness". Karan who is busy playing the role of Naitik, is also learning time management so that he can give 100% to his academy. Karan says, "I am very busy shooting for 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' but I make it a point to contribute to the acting school too. Nisha, who is my inspiration for this initiative, is also monitoring it closely".

It was treat to watch Maski (Star One Comedian) partnering with Karan and Nisha in their noble initiative. "If only two people participate today, tomorrow it will motivate 200 more to do the same. This is how it will grow." hopes Maski…
