I am soo disappointed with this show! :( I mean, I was really looking forward to a few weeks of entertainment with lots of masala, and meanness/bitching, and how the seheri girls would cope with life in a village?
But the reality unfortunately is not really very real.. nor may the best desi girl win at the end of it.
Let me explain..
- To start with, in the first couple of weeks the girls actually were asked to carry out some of the routine tasks done as part of a village life. Including being made to get down from their cars and walk to the village. But from the second week itself they have abandoned any appearance of doing 'work' and are just prettily lounging on the khatiya's outside their respective houses! In fact Roshini admitted to Dimpy (on her visit), that they only did this sort of stuff in the first week..?!
- The elimination process: In the beginning it appeared to be fair - a combination of the girls votes combined with the panchayat's reasoning. But now its all turned into a farce! The girls have ganged up (I am not a fan of Monica, but it was unfair that she is being removed just coz she was Sambhavana's friend and not theirs), and the Panchayat's opinion seems to count for zilch. I really think they should go back to giving some really hard tasks and let the last 2 stand up to the scrutiny of the village.. or something more fair anyway.
Sorry if I have been cribbing, but this really aint no reality show.. (like the rest I suppose), not when you still have the girls wearing mini skirts and full make up and being waited upon hand and foot! This show should be re-named to 'Sehri Girl'! 😆
