Talented children are not making a mockery of dance. They are portraying their talent and passion for dance through DID and their ambition to learn more and more. What is wrong with that?
Shakti is a fully trained and professional dancer, so obviously her dancing was nice, but you cannot compare little kids to Shakti, or Amar, or Dharmesh, or Amrita, etc.
When these kids get to Shakti's age, I am sure they will show the world what dancing is about. They are more versatile than those adults that were in DID 2 who always just stuck to their comfort zone (i.e. Shakti & Dharmesh).
Dharmesh's versatility has NOW been proven because of DID LIL' masters where he is choreographing, which inherently shows his versatility (where as in DID 2, his versatility was limited). With that said, this show ended up being a platform for not only the kids, but the skippers as well! 👏
Different shows will always have different perceptions. Of course I enjoyed DID 2 a lot, but can't compare to DID LM.
