June 17, 2010 Written Update
Jyoti agrees to meet him and hangs up. She thinks to herself, wondering if she should tell Kabir. Jyoti remembers Padma's words telling her not to try connecting her past with the present, and decides not to tell him or anyone else. (ohh Jyoti she didnt mean it like that!!) She quietly sneaks out of the house.
Later, all the family is gathered in the front room when Poonam comes in saying that Jyoti is missing, and she's even left her cellphone behind. She comments on how Jyoti picked Kabir yday and today she's meeting Pankaj. Deepu grabs the phone and looks at recent calls, realizing that Pankaj had been calling her. (good going Deepu!) He checks the messages and finds threatening texts from him to Jyoti. He tells this to the family, and a guilty Padma confesses to everyone that she had promised Pankaj earlier that Jyoti would return to him. She tells that when she realized that by choosing Kabir, Jyoti had done the right thing, she told Pankaj that but he threatened to get his child back at any cost. Padma expresses her worry about how Jyoti may be in danger, but Kabir assures her that she will be fine and she must have been worried whether Pankaj would do something to himself. Both he and Deepu go looking for Jyoti.
In the Vashisht house, CM is telling Neelam that Jyoti is a stubborn girl, and she will never go back to Pankaj now. Just then, Deepu and Kabir arrive asking for Pankaj's whereabouts. CM says that she's been sitting here worried about the same thing. She mentions that Jyoti probably called to meet him somewhere. Deepu starts getting angry but Kabir calms him down. Kabir tells CM that there's no need to show off just because of wealth and name. He says that Jyoti's name is now connected with him⭐️.
Jyoti arrives at a worn down looking warehouse. She walks up the stairs, remembering some old moments with Pankaj. She finds him upstairs and walks towards him. He moves forward to touch her but Jyoti promptly reminds him that just because she has come to meet him doesn't mean they are together👏👏👏. She tells him that she's only come here to tell him that their relationship is over. Pankaj tells her it doesn't have to be like that, since he understood his mistake now. He holds her hand over her stomach and tells her to promise on her child that she wants to give this child to someone else. Jyoti throws his hand away and he smiles, saying he knew she wouldn't. She looks to Pankaj, reminding him that her silence doesn't equal her agreement. Jyoti expresses how disgusted she is in him as a person and he screams at her to stop. Pankaj tells her he knows she's speaking Kabir's words now and he realizes that she chose Kabir over him because she doesn't trust a blind man with her child.
Pankaj asks what difference there really is between him and Kabir. Jyoti answers that there is a huge difference. She goes on saying how when Pankaj left her, Kabir found her. When society called her names, Kabir loved her. And when Pankaj disowned his own child, Kabir whole-heartedly accepted it. She tells him that Kabir unconditionally loved her, and now she's chosen him. (best dialogue of the day... pankaj's expression was priceless) Jyoti advises him to move on as well and starts walking away to leave. Pankaj calls her back, saying that he will let her live happily with Kabir if she gives up her child to him. Jyoti turns around, saying that uptil now; she was feeling bad to hurt Pankaj like this. But now she realizes that Pankaj never wanted her back, all he wanted was her child. She tells him that he never could understand a wife, and now he can't even understand a mother. Jyoti tells him that a mother will never give away her child. He grabs her hand, saying that he has as much a right to this child as she and he will not give it up. She tries running away from him but in the struggle, Jyoti falls down the stairs. Episode ends on Pankaj's stunned face as he hears Jyoti falling.
