The reason for this post is not to bash HR. But here are some facts.
- HR "wishes" to portray that he is "sansakar-wala", that he is polite, that he respects his elders etc.
Fact: The moment people do not accept any of his views, he resorts to shouting, yelling and turning red in face! All the while he was almost openly bashing Debu...but when he saw that Debu was going ahead in polls, he started saying "ID is my Guru - so I won't mind even if I lose to him". ID was "not" his Guru before he learnt that Vinit might lose ?
- HR wanted Vinit to win "At any cost" - so what tricks he resorted to ? Remeber his harping "Vinit ke achche sanskar hain" ? When that did not work, he started appealing "Vote for Vinit for the sake of his love!!!"
- Just learnt some tricks HR resorted to before finalising his songs: Apparently he records the first cut of his songs and hands them over to his nieces and nephews who are stying in colleges in Mumbai....these nieces/nephews make their friends listen to these songs....then take their consus...."yeah! this song is good" or "thumbs down for this song" etc and give him feedaback. Based on this college-kids' feedback, HR releases his songs (i.e. those given thumbs up by these kids).
Do you think SDB, RDB, LP, SJ, Naushaad and all the greats did this ?
Doubt even if the present-day musicians thought of this brain-wave.
I personally do not like HR. In fact, I like Jatin-lalit, ID and even AS for that matter. In my opinion Vinit lost because of HR and his antics. Had HR been low-profile like ID, Vinit COULD have won!!!
