Dr. Armaan responds to his fans (Interview)

Dill Mill Gayye and Miley Jab Hum Tum on Star One are gearing up for a major high point as there will be a cross-over between the two shows on Monday, June 14. The key characters of the shows will get swapped as the doctors will land in Excel College and the former students of Excel College will land themselves at Sanjeevani hospital. This will be a result of gulping down drinks that will be spiked. Armaan and Samrat will then go back to the same pub to find out what had transpired the night before. What happens next will be nothing less than fireworks.

Viewers have been demanding to re-unite Armaan and Riddhima. Will it or won't it happen? What do you have to say to all the ardent fans of Armaan-Riddhima?

That's what the audience wants and I am sure the channel and the production house are smart enough to gauge their expectations and grant them their wish. Right now it looks bleak but anything can happen so let's keep hoping for the best. For the fans I want to say that you guys are the best and thanks for all your love and support through everything in life. But don't worry; I will not cry a lot on the show as they have been requesting me to stop shedding tears. We are going back to being the Harvard boys and DMG will be fun again. The show will not be a heavy drama unlike others shows. Your entertainment is our priority and we will do our best to keep you entertained.

There is a huge fraction of viewers who now want Siddhant and Riddhima to unite on the show. What do you have to say about it?

It's not something we can comment on. As an actor it's my job we have to deliver as per the expectations. What they want will happen and that's the best way to go about making a show popular.

Who has been your inspiration?

I really admire Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Johny Depp, Brad Pitt and Robert De Niro. There are a lot of actors I have grown up watching. We actually had a video library back in Saudi and I used to watch a movie everyday. We would catch up with an animated film one day and the next day would watch a serious movie. So we got the best of both worlds.

Which is your favourite on-screen jodi? Which has been your all time favourite romantic moment/scene on television and in movies?

Armaan and Riddhima! Apart from Armaan and Riddhima, I liked Prerna and Rishab Bajaj at one point of time as I too was a part of the show. On television, all the scenes with Riddhima from DMG are close to my heart. As far as movies go, I will tell you when I do one.

A message to all Armaan fans: A big thankyou to all my fans. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I know that I have touched your lives somehow somewhere but today I really feel special about myself only because of you guys.

A message to all KSG fans: It's the same thing as I am Armaan only.

A message to ardent Armaan-Riddhima and DMG fans: Keep faith and be strong.

Ans. That's really mean. I feel really sorry for the poor guy. He is a really nice guy. I am talking about Karan Wahi, Siddhant is an idiot. I can only do my bit as an actor. I can only perform on whatever is given to me. We can't get involved in the changes and alterations in the storyline as such but am sure there will always be a happy ending so don't worry.
