Confrontation & Revelation : Geet - Dev - Maan

Geet had gotten out of the house feeling odd. She had the strangest feeling that her day was not going to be the best day of her life. She didn't want to go work but that Saru Maan would find an excuse to give her another bashan! Chado Geet thought, I still need to work. Aur waise bhi mein nahi chahti kay Maan mujhe aur pareshaan kare!

Geet reached the office, she was standing outside the building when she again felt strange, her heart had started beating fast and for a minute she thought she was going to faint. Maan who had also arrived at the same time got out of the car and started walking towards the building. As he reached the front, he noticed Geet just standing there, looking at the building, she was in thought. Maan smirked, he thought, Ye Larki bhi na, kaam kuch karna nahi aata lekin time waste karna aata hai" with this he stormed up to Geet and called out to her.

Maan: Geet.

Geet turned around to see Maan, she was a bit startled as Maan was standing quite close to her. Geet took a little step back but not too far, Maan's presence always made her heart flutter. It was always weird, that he had that affect on her, Geet thought.

Stern Maan: Tum yahan bahir sirf building to dekho gee, ya phir andar ja kar kuch kaam bhi karna hai? Tum aurtein bhi na, kuch aqal nahi hai. Jab dekho aanso bahana janti ho aur doosaroon ko dekhti ho, kay tum log kitne kamzoor ho. Jab dekho chapar chapar * looks like its Maan who's doing chapar chapar at the moment 😆*

Geet who had been feeling dizzy, hadn't heard a word Maan said, before he could further say anything else to her, Geet's head felt heavy, she was feeling weak at the knees, everything was muted and went grey. Next thing she knew she passed out without being aware of how fast everything happened. Maan who had been talking non-stop suddenly stopped when he saw Geet swaying a little and as soon as she fainted he called out Geet and stopped her from falling to the floor. She was in his arms unconscious. Maan tried to revive Geet.

Maan: Geet. Geet. Utho Geet. Geet.

Tenderly he was patting Geet's face, trying to wake her up. But Geet didn't. Maan gazed at her softly, he caressed her face as he was concerned for her and it showed on his face. He snapped himself out. He had no other choice, so he picked Geet up in his firm arms and took her inside.

Sasha was waiting for MK. She knew he was coming today as the alarm had already gone off, but was in a state of shock at what she saw. Geet was in MK's arms, unconscious. Jealousy took over her as she walked towards MK and she was about to ask him a question when...Sasha get a glass of water, Maan said in his serious voice. Maan just walked past her and took Geet into his cabin. Carefully, he laid her down on the sofa and sat on the edge of it right next to Geet. *sofa came out of nowhere hehe* Geet's face was looking as innocent as ever. Maan couldn't help but lose himself in her. Maan removed the strands of hair from Geet's face and gently caressed it again. He forgot that he was angry with her today.

Dipping his fingers into the water and wetting them a little, he lightly flicked the water on Geet's face. After the trickle drops of water hit Geet's face, she squinted her eyes a little and after a second or two slowly became concious. She was still a little dizzy so she reached out with her hand, trying to find a support to pull her self up, without realizing who it was, Geet grabbed Maan's collar and slowly pulled herself up, Maan also supported her by putting his arm on her back, ready to catch her if she faints again. Geet's eyes still felt a bit blurred but as soon as the cloudiness disappeared, Geet was shocked to see Maan so close, their faces only inches apart, Geet's hands still on Maan's collar and Maan's arm still on Geet's back. *MANEET EYE LOCK* Both had forgotten the world around them, it was just the two of them. Maan looked at Geet with plain awe, how beautiful was she he thought, her eyes that could drown the whole universe had so much depth, Geet was dazzled by Maan's caring nature, she was drawn towards his presence, like a magnet.

Sasha was fuming because of what she was seeing. She had to stop this quick, so she said in a loud clear voice: Er...MK, aap kay liye aap ka bhai aya hai. Woh bahir aap ka wait kar raha hai. Maneet broke from their hypnotic state. Geet quickly took her hands off Maan's collar whereas Maan also moved back and stood up. He asked Geet softly: Geet tum theek ho na? Geet replied with a shy "Jee" lowering her gaze. Maan cleared his throat and told Sasha to follow him. Before going out the door, he give Geet one quick look, another look was given to Geet by Sasha but they were like poisonous daggers.

Maan left and as he was walking up, he saw Dev, right in the middle of the office, looking worried.

Geet on the other hand had fully recovered, she remembered her moments with Maan, the eye lock, his strong scent, his firm arms. This made Geet giggle, it was unintentional she couldn't help but feel a flutter inside whenever she thought of Maan. "Yeh kya ho gaya hai mujhe, mein Maan kay bare mein...Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai mera. Chado. Mein ja kar apna kaam karti hoon."

Geet stepped out of the office and walked towards to where Maan & his brother were having a conversation, she was walking towards them but turned around as Pinky called out to Geet. Also in that moment she heard a voice, a familiar voice, Geet who was facing Pinky, turned her body sideways & froze. There she saw Maan talking to someone, Geet couldn't see as he was facing Maan and had his back towards Geet. She felt drawn to him, he looked exactly like him. His height, his posture. She heard his voice again, "Lekin bhai, mainay aisa kuch bhi nahi kiya jo aap samhaj rehin hain" She knew who it was. Instantly Geet's eyes started watering, Dev & Geet's time spent together flashed before Geet's eyes. Geet's feet which couldn't move up till this point, started moving towards Maan and his brother, Geet instead of listening to Pinky calling her, just kept walking in the other direction. She was hurting on the inside, she felt hollow and felt a constant piercing pain in her heart, it felt like her world had ended. Geet's eyes were bloodshot red, tears kept making their way down her cheeks never stopping. As soon as Geet reached him, she put a hand on his shoulder. He was startled and slowly turned around. Maan was also shocked seeing Geet in front of him. Geet's suspicion was right. It was Dev...

As Dev faced Geet he was flabbergasted, what was Geet doing here? Ye kya ho raha hai, Dev thought Geet aur yahan par? After recovering from the shock, Dev finally managed to say something. "Geet" Geet who couldn't hold it in anymore, in rage slapped Dev as hard as she could. The sound of the slap echoed throughout the whole office as everyone went quite and stood up to watch. Geet who had lost it by now starting hitting Dev, she slapped him another 3 times. She screamed at him.

Blazing Geet: Kyun tu nay mera saath aisa kiya? Kyun? Kyuna mujhe aisay dokha diya, kyun tu nay meri zindage kay saath ye ganda khel khela? Kyun Dev? batao mujhe? KYUN?... Mar gaye thi meri aatma jis din mujhe pata chala kay tu nay mujhe dhoka diya, meray parivaar waloon nay mujhe doshi thera kar, mujhe saaza de. Mein akele ho gaye thi bilkul akele. Tujh jaise dhokaybaaz ko mein saaza de kar rahoon ge. She gave him another tight slap. Dev had had enough, he said Bas Geet, he was about to push her away when Geet laughed. Kya kare ga tu, maray ga? Ya phir say mujhe dhoka de kar bhag jaye ga. She was going to give him a piece of her mind. In rage Geet moved towards Dev but before she could do anything further Maan had gone behind Geet and grabbed her from the waist, stopping her from assulting Dev more. He quietly said Geet yeh office hai, calm down. Ye sab baatein kahein aur bhi ho sakti hain.

Maan voice was soothing, it calmed Geet down a little, something about his voice lessened the pain. But Geet's quite sobs could still be heard throughout the office. As Maan felt Geet's body slack, he let her go. Geet dropped on her knees, crying her eyes out, she completely broke down. She didn't know what was happening. She was sure she was going to be strong and take her revenge from Dev but this reaction was unexpected. How could she be so weak in front of the person who left her, decieved her, left her on her own when she needed him the most?

After Geet had collected herself, she let go of Maan, both of them broke the embrace and were quiet for a moment. Maan walked to his desk and came back with a glass of water. He handed it to Geet. Without hesitation she took it and gulped it down all at once.

Maan decided to finally break the silence. Tum Dev ko kis tarah janti ho Geet? Geet looked up at Maan, thinking. She finally said something back. Aap Dev ko kaise jantay hain? Maan looked a little hesitant but decided it was best to tell the truth. Dev mera...chota bhai hai. Hearing this, Geet was shocked. She had never expected this, Maan and Dev were related. everything seemed twisted to Geet now. How could this be? There was only one thing to do now. She was about to get up and leave when Maan grabbed her arm and stopped her.

Maan: Mujhe batao Geet, Dev nay tumharay saath aisa kya kiya, kay tum na ussay woh sab kuch kaha. Office mein jo bhi kuch hua, mujhe uss ke wajah batao. Dev nay aisa Kya kar diya?

Upset Geet barked back: Zindagi cheen le uss nay mujh say, meri hasi cheen le, meri zindagi barbad kar kay mujhe chor kay chala gaya tha woh.

Geet narrates all of her story to Maan. The way she got married to Dev, how her property was given to Dev, how she was excited about her marriage, how Dev had left her at the airport, her struggle with her family, which is the reason why Brij tried to kill her.

After Geet finished, she further added "woh toh mujhe ek aur tofah de kar gaya tha."

Maan: Tofah?

Geet: "Mein uss kay bachay ke maa banay wali hoon."

This was a big blow for Maan. He was shocked to his very core. His brother Dev? He knew Dev could stoop low, but to stoop beyond the limits. Che he thought. How could he do that to Geet, such an innocent girl. Maan gets flashbacks of when Geet says that her land was taken from her, Maan constantly saving Geet from danger, especially when Brij tried killing her. Maan instantly feels guilty. Dev nay itna kuch Geet kay saath kiya. Uss ko itni musibat mein dal kar chala gaya, agar mein na hota toh aaj Geet...

Maan stood there thinking about the next step. Geet's patience was running out and she couldn't take it anymore.

Geet: So Mr. Maan Singh Khurana, kya hai aapka faisla? Mujhe pata hai kay aap meri baat ko bilkul nahi manay gein, aap ko yehi lagay ga ke mein sach nahi jhoot bol rehi hoon. Hamesha ke tarah aaj bhi aap mujhe he kuch kehen gay lekin bas, mujhe kuch nahi sunna. Bas aap mujhe yeh bataye ke mein apna resignation dee doon ya phir aap...

But before she could say anything, Maan had put a hand on her lips. Geet was stunned.

Maan: Tumhein kuch kehne ke zaroorat nahi hai Geet. Mein janta hoon kay tum sach bol rehi ho. Geet aaj say tumhari har responsibility meri hai, beshak meray bhai nay galti ke hai, lekin uss ke saza tumhein nahi milne chahiye. Mein tumhara hamesha saath doon ga. Aur yeh Maan Singh Khurana ka Vaada hai.

Then Maan walked back to his desk again. He picked up his phone and called someone.

Maan in an angry voice: Dev, tum mujhe abhi milo ghar par, mein 10 minute mein aata hoon. Mujhe koi bahana nahi chahiye.

With that Maan slammed the phone down, grabbed Geet's hand and walked out into the office. Everyone started murmuring and staring at Maan holding Geet's hand. Geet too didn't know what was going on. Maan just pulled Geet along with him to his car.
