Ranveer did nothing wrong, he was just being a son expressing his thought over his dad's misdeeds..He does not need to apologize.

I wanted to make a post but then realizing how sensitive it gets here I refrained.😛

It feels disgusting to think Indu was unfaithful with his wife....but I feel it is naturally one of the most common problem some our societies have been facing.So mistakes like Karan happen.
Whether Kusum fell knowingly or unknowingly is a thing of the past,like in old bollywood famous story lines.
Kusum might have believed in Indu when he said, he is not in good terms with his wife and do not want to live with her or love her.They might have even exchanged garlands, who knows?
Indu returned back when his father called.Kusum might have understood that too....the lady in love she was.Of all he was already legally married to Vasu., so life went on....
I don't think neither Indu planned on it nor did Kusum and it happened....the kind of man Indu is, it is believable he left Kusum for his dad's words...not thinking twice.
In the end he had hurt and betrayed two women not knowingly or wantingly.
In my sense Kusum is a Devi! She knew what she had done.. and took care it did not hurt anybody else... she sacrificed her dream of good life to preserve her love's life!
Inder is the one to be blamed here...
😆

Yes this track is realistic in its core. But it has been dealt with in an absolutely unrealistic way. Vasu, and I'm talking about Vasu the most egoistic character on the show, just forgave Inder like that? And praised the other woman? And wanted to accept Karan as her son and wanted him to live there? That is way too far-fetched. Some of the nicest and loving women find it impossible to forgive a cheating husband!
Sadhna's sacrifices cannot have changed Vasu's basic personality. There must be some traces of it and Vasu's reaction to today is totally against her character.
@underline
But that still doesn't make it ok for Kusum to sleep with a married man and Inder to cheat on his wife even if they did exchange garlands since 1) its not a legal marriage, 2) it's null and void.
@red
And in the process, was completely unfair to her son. Karan grew up with hatred for his father and his father's family because he never knew the truth. He tried to destroy the family and tried to involve his bhabhis in a prositiution scandal. Kusum might have "saved" Inder's life from further damage, but she in a way destroyed her son's life.
In my opinion, a woman should think about not ruining other people's lives/families before she decides to sleep with a married man, then the other way around. Kind of like a guilty conscience if she does the opposite.

One of the reasons why I hated today's episode!
Totally did not understand why Ranvir was so guilty and had to say sorry. He got mad because his dad cheated on his mom, and just because Inder didn't know about Karan, doesn't mean he didn't cheat on Vasu.
Maybe a sorry for thinking that Inder has been two-timing Vasu for 25 years, but for nothing more😕

@green, I agree it is not practical for Vasu to change once for all, if it was for real life.But it is Bidaai and all the characters abide by the principles when they turn good!
For once if you see the birds eye view you can make out this story is coming from one person(CT's) brain.Good=ideal in Bidaai.What Vasu did was ideal and yes it is hard to believe she has become ideal already.
@Purple, everyone knows that extramarital affair is wrong.But believe me I have see atleast a couple of case in real life.When see the picture in their POV, you will not see anything wrong.
Inder might have promised marriage to Kusum.Kusum might have forgiven Inder out of her unconditional love.Again I have see a case like this in real life.
Law is for people who care about it. How many people practice polygamy ......God only knows🤔.
@Blue, I agree , Karan suffered.I guess Karan paid for her mistake.She decided for her son .
I am not telling that Kusum is ideal.I am honoring her for not ruining Vasu's life and letting Inder go .Unlike Ekta's villain she did not use the opportunity to spit venom in somebody' life.

I think Bani has compared her to Sadhana in the earlier post probably coz' of her sacrifice she made, giving happiness to others at one's own cost!

Ultimately she looks like a lady with good heart and with bad decisions.

That's why I don't think this track is really realistic--just in the sense that infidelity i common nowadays.But nothing else really.

I believe in the saying that you can't build your mahal of happiness on another's tears/by breaking someone's relationship. Personally i would never be able to be truly happy. The guilt would always be there.
Extramarital affairs like that are sadly common...

Very true

Correction- not further ruining Vasu's life by demanding for her rights.

I think Bani has compared her to Sadhana in the earlier post probably coz' of her sacrifice she made, giving happiness to others at one's own cost!

Ultimately she looks like a lady with good heart and with bad decisions.
I guess...
