And as in real life , marriage changes everything. You see it is the VOWS.They are real not just some mantras. It makes no logical sense whatsoever for someone to go thru the wedding with the intention of not upholding what you promised during pheras.. She could have retaliated during the wedding and backed out of it altogether. The story is based in this century as you know.
Even an illiterate knows you don't marry someone and hope the marriage will never get consummated.. It would be like inviting someone for dinner in the hopes that they will not eat..lol..

From what i read here , Pragya did not marry krishna of her own volition but was forced to ( i may be wrong here as I havent watched the show) .No my question is , If some vows are made under duress do they hold good?

Circumstances forced her to marry Krishna. And taking Saath Pheras with someone does not make you his servant.

I think RTH highlighted it the best. I haven't watched Pratigya dot to dot either due to exams, but recently saw some of what it tried to give out as message. I have to admit, it's an interesting concept.

Oh fans are just fans. They want to see them as a couple together and that's what explains it all. Simple...

On a personal front though, I am the kind of girl who'd fall in love with someone who loves me. Perhaps not initially, but I wouldn't be able to resist it. You know when someone really loves you, you just know, and somehow, I would know and accept it. I would not reciprocate the same degree of it perhaps, depending on the situation, but I know I would be falling in love as well sooner or later... Or perhaps I've watched just too little Hindi movies (count: 2) since the last 6 months and am getting nostalgic and sounding too filmy.

What Krishna does to Pratigya however is unacceptable. She's being treated like a right, a possession rather than a wife. I am really glad they've made her character a bit strong at least. Makes Krishna thinks twice now before he says or does something for her or concerning her. I like that hesitation he has every time he goes to talk to her. Shows that he's changing, learning slowly that a wife is your better half, not a toy you mold at your will.
